From that, with faith and confidence, Generating the four conditions, free from ignorance. Therefore, never fallen into samsara. Furthermore, Vajrasattva, listen. Mindless self-awareness, know as the Dharmakaya. No need to accomplish great qualities. For one's own benefit and happiness, there is no Buddhahood. Therefore, never experienced nirvana. Since there is no conceptualization, there is no obscuration. Therefore, in the self-born essence, Since there is no abandonment or attainment, free from hope and fear. Not stained by any fault, Without cultivation, all qualities are complete. Kuntuzangpo looks at himself. Because there is no essence of cause and condition, it is called the Dharmakaya without object. Furthermore, Vajrasattva, listen. Buddhas and sentient beings do not exist on the ground. For the mindless, self-born Kuntuzangpo, Since there is no teacher, it is the self-born body. Without hearing or thinking, self-awareness is realized. Since there is no ignorance, it is separated from mind. Wonderful awareness, the speech of the Victorious Ones. Mindless, all-knowing. Since there are no four elements, it is not compounded. Therefore, it is the formless wisdom body. Since there is no samsara, it is completely pure. The definitive meaning of all Buddhas. It is a great prophecy for all future generations. Realizing this, through my blessing, May the Buddhas of the three times hear. Nirvana has arisen from beginningless time. For the benefit of beings, two kinds of form bodies are shown. From the Dzogchen Meaning United Self-Arisen Wheel of Bliss Tantra, The chapter on showing the realization of Kuntuzangpo, the twenty-second. Then, to the assembled retinue, The all-knowing teacher spoke: The dharma of samsara and nirvana, Is not the self-aware Dharmakaya. Because the mind is attached to objects, Therefore, it is not the reality of meaning. Furthermore, Vajrasattva, listen. Born from the cause and condition of ignorance, The habit of self-thought delusion increases. From that, various sufferings arise. There is no escape from the four rivers. Furthermore, listen, assembled retinue. The bliss of nirvana, too, By the power of accumulating causes and conditions, A temporary fruit of happiness arises. Therefore, it is not the ultimate fruit. Furthermore, listen again, retinue. Samsara, nirvana, ignorance, Dharmakaya, With ordinary embodied consciousness, On the ground, recognizing wisdom, Self-

Because of unchanging faith, Having that is the Buddha's intention. Understanding that, there is not even a speck of meditation, That itself is the self-born essence. Whatever kind of yogi has that, All actions of body, speech, and mind, Whatever is done is great wisdom itself, Whatever is done without contradiction is knowing action. Therefore, realizing one's own mind, That also, Vajrasattva, listen. Self-knowing wisdom is unchanging, Unmade, uncorrected, good from the beginning. Wherever one abides in that, there is no change, Therefore, having definite confidence, Whatever is done is the essence of the Dharmakaya. Having that, in this very human body, The intention is one with all the Buddhas. That also, Vajrasattva, listen, For the yogi who understands this definitive meaning, Without the four elements, attachment is small. Without a Buddha, there is no need for offerings. Without sentient beings, there is no compassion. Therefore, the meaning is without hope or fear, Since there is nothing, there is no need to seek. Therefore, there is no distraction in meaning. This essence is not non-existent, In the awareness without cause or condition, It is clear from the beginning, unlike everything else. Having that, the Dharmakaya is unchanging. That also, listen to the essence of the gathering. For the yogi who has definite meaning, There is no need for virtue, and there is no obscuration. Without committing sins, there is no ignorance. The Dharmakaya's recognition is self-\ \ born, There is no fault of not being prophesied. Therefore, having all qualities, It is equal to all the Buddhas from the beginning. From the Tantra of the Great Perfection, the Wheel of Bliss, the Meaning Gathered, Self-Born, the thirty-third chapter, which teaches the condensed essence of definitive meaning, is complete. Then, to the assembled gathering, He gave the teachings on suppressing the mind's wrong thoughts. Now, this very awareness, Unobscured, primordially clear, self-born, At this time, it has the experience of meaning. That also, listen to the essence of the gathering, On the fruit, the present awareness, That realization free from ignorance, Self-luminous, confident, the meaning of certainty, That itself is the confidence of the Buddha's wisdom. That also, Vajrasattva, listen, Without heaven or hell, there is happiness. Without sinking or excitement, there is no need to meditate. Having that, there is no straying from the truth. Therefore, samsara and nirvana are pure from the beginning. When abiding in the state of Dharmakaya, Even if one remembers past habitual tendencies, Yet the Dharmakaya is without attachment, without straying, Like recognizing poison and not eating it. That also, listen to the essence of the gathering, When later afflictions arise, Suddenly arising, all
