Thus. (If) accomplishments are practiced, there is no result. These are what the Buddhas of the past have said, that mantra practitioners should abandon. As it is said, etc., these are not the literal meanings of the intention of the unsurpassable tantras, but rather prohibit all kinds of intoxicating drinks. In the unsurpassable tantra sections, the explanation of enjoying meat and alcohol during secret empowerment and tsokhorlo is intended for yogis who have attained power in secret places, who properly practice the conduct of vows. Among them, the yogi who is able to drink alcohol is one who has attained stability in both the generation and completion stages, and is able to transform everything he drinks into nectar, so that even the most poisonous black halahala poison cannot harm him, but instead turns into nectar. Like Naropa, who transformed the thousand buckets of water offered by the savages into nectar and enjoyed it, and like Birwapa, who never got drunk no matter how much he drank. Yogis who have attained such accomplishments, in the twenty-four places and other perfect places, on auspicious days, for the purpose of offering to heroes and heroines, in the tsokhorlo, transform the five nectars, alcohol, five meats, and other foods into actual nectar through the three methods of purification, realization, and blessing, and then enjoy them. It is not like merely gaining a little stability in the generation and completion stages and thinking that one can transform alcohol into nectar. Those whose minds do not remain still for even a moment, who are controlled by discursive thoughts, and whose bodies and minds become intoxicated by just one cup of alcohol, if they still use the excuse of unsurpassable tantra to drink alcohol, then they will surely fall into hell and will not be able to obtain even the slightest common accomplishment. Therefore, even if one is a yogi who has entered the unsurpassable tantra, one is not allowed to drink alcohol immoderately before attaining the ability. If one is a monk, and the lama gives it during empowerment and tsokhor, then the lama violates the vow and the drinker violates the precepts, as stated in the commentary on the Hevajra Tantra. If the ordained lama and disciple obtain the ability to drink alcohol, then they should offer all the ordained robes to the khenpo and lama, and then enter the ranks of yogis. This can be known from the stories of Acharya Shantipa drinking alcohol and Birwapa drinking alcohol. Therefore, the monastic vows of today
