Furthermore, since the nature of all dharmas is inseparable from emptiness, it is called self-nature. The expanse of that dharmata, in the state of ultimate truth, is complete without moving from the ground of appearance and existence, hence it is called the Great Perfection. Just as the sky pervades all things and the sky does not abandon all things, so the dharmata of the Great Perfection does not abandon any dharma in all dharmas, hence it is called non-abandonment. Just as the characteristics of things, such as shape and color, do not exist in the sky, and the sky transcends those realms, so all things, characteristics, and expressions that exist in all phenomena do not exist in the dharmata of the Great Perfection, and the Great Perfection transcends those realms, hence it is called the meaning of all transcendence. Thus, the ground state of the expanse of dharmata, the Great Perfection, reveals the intrinsic wisdom of its own nature, and that itself is the Dharmakaya of the inseparability of appearance and liberation. In the view of original purity and cutting through, it is determined that: when spontaneous thoughts arise in the realm, without making any clinging or rejection of both the arising realm and the arising thoughts, by looking at the nature of whatever arises, the thoughts are self-purified, that is, self-awareness arises without alteration, and that is the vast expanse of awareness and wisdom that pervades the state of the spontaneously accomplished three bodies. Therefore, it is said: Whatever arises, without clinging, spontaneously pervades the realm of awareness. Thus, in the state of seeing the self-face of the view, by leaving the mind uncorrected and still, the thoughts are self-purified, that is, abiding in the meditation of self-abiding nature is called abiding. At that time, although unimpeded clarity manifests in various ways from the state of non-arising, it is liberated in the state of non-clinging, hence it is called self-liberation. By looking nakedly at the nature of whatever thought arises, when the thought self-vanishes, the original nature is seen more clearly, which is called naked seeing. Such meditation is also free from all clinging to experiences such as bliss, clarity, and non-thought, and transcends the realm of thinking with the mind that this nature is such and such, hence it is called inconceivable. This uncorrected mind, only guarding it with self-knowing and self-aware mindfulness, is the key point of practice, hence it is self-nature and self-abiding. Therefore, if you forcefully grasp it with the mind and correct the mind, then the more you correct it, the more you deviate from the path, so do not make corrections. Thus, the uncorrected dharmata, if those who do not know their own nature, then it is self-nature.

Because of being confused about the path of Atiyoga, with what kind of confusion do those confused ones abandon the unaltered nature of their minds, and take the altered as the path, so they abandon the nature. Originally, the mind abides in the state of primordial liberation, but they apply strict discriminating thoughts and fall into the box of hope and fear, so they put a strict box on the original mind. Like this, falling into the box of hope and fear, thinking "this is, this is not," repeatedly modifying with discriminating mind, the more they modify, the more they cannot see the essential meaning, and are obscured by the fabricated views of discriminating mind, so they obscure the essential meaning. Just as the sky can never be tied into a knot, so there is no need to untie it, the nature of mind abides in primordial liberation, but they presume that they can be liberated through effort, because they cannot be liberated, so there is no liberation. Those who strive and modify, wanting to be liberated, are like worms binding themselves with their own saliva, being bound again by the tenets of their own desires, so that binds them again. If we summarize those key points, it is that this ordinary awareness, without any fabrication of discriminating mind, is also called the awareness of the ground. It is also called Atiyoga. Similarly, Mahamudra, Mahamadhyamaka, freedom from elaboration, no arising, etc., whatever name is given, in essence it is this ordinary awareness, naked self-knowing, so recognizing it itself is called view, that is the end of the first section. The second is: Like this, the view of recognizing self-nature, abiding in that unaltered state, relaxing and abiding without fabrication, that is meditation. If there is relaxation in the mind, abiding in that natural state, without distraction, awareness has self-abiding samadhi, because it is self-nature, so there is no need to modify it. Like that, abiding in the natural state, when the various thoughts of its power radiate and flow to external objects, first recognize the flow of thoughts. Then, abiding in the state of seeing self-nature, thoughts are purified in themselves, appearing liberated, without trace, so flowing and seeing are simultaneously liberated. Moreover, whether it is a good thought or a good appearance, do not think "this is good," do not attach to it, abide without attachment, naturally disappearing, so it is not defiled by antidotes, evil thoughts
