This is shown as the play of peaceful appearances. In the section explaining the 'Treasury of Words and Meanings,' it says: Before enlightenment and Buddhahood, and before the arising of samsara due to non-enlightenment, first, the state of the original ground is shown; second, how sentient beings are deluded from it; and third, how the ground pervades during delusion. This also conveys that. In particular, in the colophon 'Sun, Moon, Planets, and Stars' of the Tögal text 'Tik Yidzhin Norbu,' the state of the nature ground, the way sentient beings are deluded, and the distinction between mind and wisdom are divided into three sections. In explaining the first section, it says: The realm of the nature's original general ground, the essence of the Sugata, which is naturally pure, the expanse of clear light, its essence is the three: nature, entity, and compassion. Also, in the text 'Namkhai Longsal,' it says: First, the original general ground is, its essence is the three: nature, entity, and compassion. Empty clarity arises without ceasing, like the sky, sun, moon, and mirror. It abides as spontaneously accomplished great bliss from the beginning. Without falling into the two, samsara and nirvana, the basis of arising, the place of arising is unpredicted. It is called the basis of the arising of all dharmas. It is inseparable from self-awareness. Because qualities are spontaneously accomplished, it is called the Sugata-garbha. Its essence is emptiness, so it has not experienced permanence. Its nature is clarity, so it has not experienced cessation. Its compassion is awareness, so it is not a blank void. Freed from one and many, the indivisible three kayas are inseparable. It is the Buddha of the nature ground. The Buddha Dipamkara and the primordial protector, unchanging light, are named Amitabha. That is the original state of dharma. From that, the way the ground appearance arises is like light arising from crystal. Also, in 'Namkhai Longchen,' it says: From the ground, realm, path, and the fruit of liberation, the realm is clear light, naturally spontaneously accomplished, possessing the essence of emptiness, clarity, and awareness, possessing many qualities that are indivisible, spontaneously accomplished like the sun, naturally completely pure, originally empty of stains with distinctions, the meaning of the originally pure clear light dharmata. Because this exists, from awareness and non-awareness, nirvana and the appearances of the six realms arise. As soon as it arises, in that realm of essence, there is no good or bad transformation, purity or impurity. Just as from the realm of space, the four elements

Just as it is without the stains of changing appearances, it is called the source realm that opens up understanding for all. Because the mind-basis with stains is spontaneously perfect in nature, it is called the self-illuminating nature of mind itself. Like the sun and clouds, it is obscured by sudden stains, hence it is called the element, and because it abides for a long time, it is called the virtue of the primordial dharma-element. Because it is the way things are, it is labeled as the ultimate truth. Because it is beyond the realm of thought, it is the Perfection of Wisdom. Because it is uncompounded, it is the spontaneously perfect mandala itself. Because it is the treasury of the ocean of qualities such as strength, it is said that the Sugata-essence pervades all beings. Examples of obscurations where one has it but does not see it: like a treasure under the ground, a lamp inside a vase, a fruit inside a husk, a Sugata inside a granary, a jewel in rotten cloth, a jewel in mud, honey inside a lotus, a jewel in stone ore, a jewel in a wall, gold in rotten mud, fruit on a tree, butter in milk, and a great silk cloth in a billion worlds, and so forth. These are closely illustrated, as stated in the scriptures. The lineage-element, the Sugata-essence, pervades all beings. This is said to be the basis of the definitive meaning essence. From such a realm, self-awareness is liberated, and by severing the distinctions of moments, one becomes a Buddha, the primordial protector, the Perfection of Qualities. With the completely pure vision of inner suchness, the first Buddha established the Dharma assembly. In the beginningless realm that is difficult to fathom for a long time, beings of the six realms are deluded by the power of ignorance. Such things are well explained. In the three key points of the Khandro Yangtik lamp, it is also very clearly explained that it is in accordance with this, so it is well decided. Therefore, to make refutations against the explanation that Kuntuzangpo is liberated from the ground, or to hold that it is inconsistent with other texts, is a sign of not understanding the key point. Because it is impossible for the ground not to be liberated after becoming a Buddha, as quoted earlier from the Supreme Vehicle Treasury. The clear light of the four appearances that arise in this life, and the appearances of the bardo itself, are explained as the ground appearance. Here, it has been determined to be the primordial Sugata-essence, so it is impossible to become a Buddha without realizing the nature of the Sugata-essence. Moreover, in the back text of Tögal, "Sun, Moon, Planets, and Stars," after explaining the way Kuntuzangpo is liberated
