There are three refutations of self-establishment that are in accordance with inversion: Because the possessing dharma has no self-nature, refuting that the possessor has self-nature; refuting that the basis of inversion is self-established; refuting that inversion is self-born. The first is, inversion, etc. The second is, just like inversion, etc. The third is, examining whether the object of inversion exists or not and refuting it, if it is, etc. The fourth is, showing that such refutation is of great significance, such as, etc. Second, refuting that its proof, i.e., the means of dispelling it, is self-established, if it is, etc. Twenty-third chapter. Second, there are two ways to dispel disputes about this: examining the truth and examining nirvana. The first has two: dispute and answer. The first has two: disputes about the unreasonableness of arising and ceasing, etc., and disputes about the unreasonableness of karma and result, etc. The first has three: disputes about the unreasonableness of the actions and agents of the four truths, disputes about the unreasonableness of those who have entered the fruition, and disputes about the unreasonableness of the Three Jewels. The first is, if it is, etc. The second is, virtue, etc. The third is, if it is, etc. Second, the dispute about the unreasonableness of karma and result, etc., is, as it is said, etc. Second, there are four answers: showing that what others say is a dispute of not realizing the reality of dependent origination; showing that the emptiness that one accepts is the meaning of dependent origination; in this way, not admitting that all establishments are unreasonable; realizing the reality of dependent origination will lead to seeing the reality of the four truths. The first has two: the reason why the faults established by others do not fall on oneself; the reason why the fault-establisher himself falls into that fault. The first has three: actually showing that the words of fault-telling do not fall, and the reason why it is not only without fault but also has qualities. The first has two: showing the dispute of not realizing the three meanings; such dispute shows that the two truths are not realized. The first is, for this, etc. The second has five: the nature of the two truths that are not realized; not understanding the two truths means not understanding the reality of the scriptures; the need to show the two truths; the faults of clinging to the two truths as inverted; the reason why the teacher did not show the two truths at first because they are difficult to realize. The first is, Buddha, etc. The second is, whoever, etc. The third is, convention, etc. The fourth is, emptiness, etc. The fifth

Therefore, etc. Second, showing that fault-finding is not allowed is fault, etc. Third, the way in which there are not only no faults but also qualities is to whom, etc. Second, there are three ways in which the fault falls on the fault-finder himself: the reason why the fault falls on the fault-finder; the way in which he himself is caught by other faults; and clearly showing what those faults are. The first is: To whom, etc. The second is: You, etc. The third is: If, etc. Second, showing one's own view of emptiness as the meaning of dependent arising is dependent arising, etc. Third, for those who do not want that, there are six ways in which all establishments are unreasonable: the knowable four truths are unreasonable, the knowers of the four truths, etc., and the four fruits are unreasonable; the Three Jewels are unreasonable; the agent and the results of actions are unreasonable; worldly conventions are unreasonable; and transcendent conventions are unreasonable. The first is: If, etc. The second is: If, etc. The third is: Fruit, etc. The fourth is: Any, etc. The fifth is: Dependent arising, etc. The sixth is: If, etc. Fourth, if one sees the reality of dependent arising, one will see the reality of the four truths, that is, to whom, etc. The twenty-fourth chapter. Second, examining nirvana has two parts: debate and answer. The first is: If, etc. The second has four parts: For the school that holds that things are established by their own nature, nirvana is unreasonable; identifying nirvana according to one's own system; refuting other ways of speaking about it; and eliminating scriptural contradictions to such refutation. The first is: If, etc. The second is: By abandoning, etc. The third has three parts: refuting that nirvana is established as the four extremes; showing that those who understand nirvana are not established as the four extremes; and the meaning of what is established by that. The first has three parts: refuting the assertion that nirvana exists and does not exist as separate extremes; refuting the assertion of clinging to both of these extremes; and refuting the assertion of clinging to neither of the two extremes. The first has four parts: refuting the assertion that nirvana clings to the extreme of existence; refuting the assertion of clinging to the extreme of non-existence; where to place nirvana after abandoning the two extremes; and the way of criticizing showing clinging to the two extremes. The first is: For a while, etc. The second is: If, etc. The third is: Coming, etc. The fourth is: Arising, etc. Second, clinging to the two extremes
