Living on meager food and wild vegetables, renouncing accumulation and storage, is the ascetic mendicant. Holding the thirty precepts, closing the door to downfall, how can numerous affairs and clamor arise for him? 46 Cutting off the many faults belonging to the four defeats, possessing conduct that is easy to nourish and satisfying. Not opening the opportunity for the ninety downfalls, why not rejoice in the joy of meditative quiescence? 47 With the extremely beautiful conduct of peace, abandoning the cause of generating disbelief in others, completely restraining unexamined and reckless behavior, is the adornment of the world, free from many faults and not free from faults. 48 When the fierce great fire of unbearable anger is quick to devour the forest of virtuous accumulations, like a cloud with the nature of holding loving rain, gathering the mind-city of peaceful celibacy. 49 For the beauty and softness of shapes, colors, and tactile sensations, when making movements of attachment without examination, with the wisdom of knowing the nature of ugliness and impurity, making pure water to wash away the dust of attachment. 50 When bewildered about the state of the past, future, and present, with the lamp of the sacred Dharma of dependent origination, crushing the army of ignorance, the root of existence, like inviting a virtuous friend on the right path as a guest. 51 Not wandering in the dim and dense forest, not deviating from the path of one-pointed focus, with the cultivation of the three quiescences, striving to open the gate of nirvana. 52 May the harmonious Sangha be of one mind in every way, the two hundred and fifty precepts pure and consistent, when adorning the Pratimoksha with harmonious confession, like the full moon, there is no disharmony, very beautiful. 53 Guarding the dwelling, not abandoning the precepts of abiding, like nourishing the crops of rain in the rainy season, praising each other's fragrant qualities, the scene of sharing with each other, like a garden of the gods. 54 The door of strife arising from downfall and gain, the excellent way of prohibiting improper actions is rare, giving coolness to each other with the water of discussion, remembrance, and instruction, with the three robes as the cause, not much gain is happiness. 55 Although there is a temporary phenomenon of the moon waxing and waning, like the fullness and emptiness in the upper and lower directions, with the increase and decrease of faults and virtues, and the methods of restoration and purification, it is beautiful with the side of emptiness of faults and fullness of virtues. 56 Like the summer rain nourishing the crops, filling the lakes and ponds and making them beautiful, hearing, etc.

Nourished by the nectar of corresponding qualities, residing like a sea filled with gatherings of gains. 57 Like the splendor of the autumn moon, abundant mature fruits are available for sharing, and generosity is like drooping ears of rice. With beneficial words and the sharing of gains, the assembled Sangha is greatly delighted. 58 These virtuous practices, harmonious in inner and outer interdependence, are the wonderful conduct of the Buddha's sons. Wherever this path resides, that place is the field of merit for gods and beings, bestowed by the supreme Teacher. 59 Wherever the principles of the Three Roots abide, that place is worthy to be called the precious abode of the Buddha's teachings. The central land, the essence of sacred places, where else should we scatter flowers of praise if not here? 60 Far from towns and bustling places, in secluded monasteries and charnel grounds, truly abiding on the ground without any concealment. Such a Buddha's son is like the king of beasts. 61 Not attached to softness, nor pursuing abundance, not clinging to beauty, wearing only coarse clothing. Raising the banner of liberation, conduct conforming to the ways of a righteous person, such a great righteous one is the epitome of few desires. 62 One alms round, taking only once a day, dwelling in one place, living on food, abiding in comfort. Avoiding the extremes of satiety and hunger, clearly recognizing this, taming the mind-horse with simple bodily conduct. 63 Not craving sleep and comfortable cushions, casting far away the intoxication of sleep. Passing the night in a seated posture, as if inviting peaceful Samadhi as a guest. 64 Anointing with the fragrance of discipline, bringing coolness and fragrance, wearing the garment of shame, bringing auspiciousness. The adornment of qualities surpasses all other ornaments, in this world, more beautiful than the gods. 65 Little desire for gains, but the desire for loving-kindness constantly increases. Content with wealth, but never content with qualities. Abandoning worldly pleasures, delighted by the bliss of Samadhi. The supreme yogi transcends the realm of ordinary beings. 66 Underneath a secluded tree, a beautiful place of peace, adorned with the banner of liberation, clothing is beautiful, and all conduct is so beautiful. Like dwelling in a place of a thousand beauties. 67 Endowed with leisure and fortune, living on pure food, the assembly of gods rejoices in their pure conduct. Skilled in understanding the clear rain of pure Dharma, such a pure being, even the gods could not create, could they? 68 Purity
