If 'I' is one with the body, is it one with the entire body, or with each part of the body? If it is one with the entire body, then when the mind and body are separated, and the body remains in place, 'I' should also remain there; when the body is cremated and life ends, 'I' should also end. Because 'I' is one with the body as a collection of body parts. If this is admitted, then 'I's' rebirth in the six realms of samsara will also be interrupted. If 'I' is one with each part of the body, then 'I' should be one with each part of the toenail, and with each hair on the head. Because 'I' is one with each part of the body in this way. If this is admitted, then one person should have as many 'I's' as there are parts of the toenail to each hair on the head, and these 'I's' should all exist in the same person. If 'I' is one with the present consciousness, is it one with all six consciousnesses (eye consciousness, ear consciousness, nose consciousness, tongue consciousness, body consciousness, and mind consciousness)? It is one with mind consciousness. If it is one with all six consciousnesses, then when a person simultaneously generates six consciousnesses, that person will become six different individuals, because 'I' is one with the six consciousnesses. If 'I' is one with mind consciousness, then when in a state of non-conceptual absorption or fainting, 'I' should cease, because at that time mind consciousness has ceased. The head and hands, etc., of consciousness should also feel pain. Therefore, the way 'I' and the aggregates (the five aggregates, namely form, feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness) appear is not truly existent as one. Secondly, 'I' and 'my' aggregates are definitely not different entities established in ultimate reality. If 'I' and the aggregates were necessarily different entities established in ultimate reality, then they would become unrelated, the aggregates could not be the object to be taken, and 'I' could not be the taker. When the eye sees something, it could not be said that 'I' saw it; when the hand feels pain, it could not be said that 'I' feel pain. Because 'I' and the aggregates are unrelated. Therefore, they are definitely not different either, this is pervasively established. Furthermore, is 'I' permanent or impermanent? If it is permanent, then birth and death will cease. If it is impermanent, then are the parts of 'I' one with or different from 'I'? If they are one, then just as one cannot speak at birth, one should not be able to speak when old; just as one later becomes ordained, one should be ordained at birth; when 'I' speaks, it is like speaking at birth. Because the way the parts and 'I' appear is one in this way. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Because it is 'one'. If 'it' is different, then it is acceptable that I remember that I do not rely on birth and death, and the 'I' who accumulates karma and the 'I' who experiences the ripening result will also become unrelated. Because the various parts of me and the phenomena are formed in this way as 'it'. Therefore, becoming unrelated is just like before. This is also to recognize the way of clinging to the person (Tibetan: གང་ཟག, meaning: person) by relying on the previously mentioned Svātantrika, and if the person is established by nature, then it must be established as either one with or different from the skandhas (Tibetan: ཕུང་པོ, meaning: heap). It has been determined that there is no way to establish other than these two, and the fault of the person and the skandhas both being established by nature as one is seen, and the harm of the person and the skandhas both being established by nature as different is well seen, that is, if the four key points of meditating on the selflessness of the person are complete, then a pure view of realizing the suchness of the selflessness of the person will arise. Fourth, the reason for distinguishing the object to be negated from the basis of negation, as the reason for the proof, is that the reason for being separate from one and many is: relying on those key points, there is not even a little bit of the way of clinging and the phenomena being established in this way. Being certain that it does not exist at all is the certainty and understanding of cultivating the view, and the way of cultivating it is also a certain key point. Possessing these three key points of clinging, the key point of appearance, thinking that the way I cling and the phenomena are established in this way does not exist at all, a clear certainty arises, and repeatedly introduce a strong continuity of certainty. Do it that way too. For the later ones, do a slightly weaker observation. Continuously generate strong certainty. Like this, from doing the observation of one and different to the uncertainty of the meaning of the observation, also with the uninterrupted recollection of dissimilar types of realization, and the recollection that is not interrupted by other conceptual thoughts except for the continuous certainty of the certainty of the meaning of the observation, and prevent excitement and sinking, etc., as in the case of tranquility (Tibetan: ཞི་གནས, meaning: quiescence). By meditating like that, it is as if the subject (Tibetan: ཡུལ་ཅན, meaning: one with mind) has come under the control of the emptiness (Tibetan: སྟོང་ཉིད, meaning: emptiness) of that object, and it is as if the wisdom of the subject arises in that state. Second, the yoga of the subsequent attainment like illusion is: to be known through just the name, just the imputation, and like illusion. The first is: after preventing the meaning of oneself grasped by the thought of 'I' from being established in that way, the name 'I' is just what is left. Thinking that it is like the dry name of a rabbit's horn, although it is the same as just the name, it cannot function. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
