At a time when arrogance is great, wrong views are prevalent, there is ignorance of the meaning of the scriptures, disrespect for lamas and friends, little compassion, no shame or embarrassment, abandonment of Dharma and great pride, arrogance due to worldly concerns, falling into the abyss of wrong views, intoxication with desires, short life, lack of merit, and great obstacles from spirits, zombies, Yama (the Lord of Death), Matri (female demons), and evil guides, if one does not possess this Yidam (tutelary deity), one will not complete this profound path. Therefore, if one possesses the pride of glorious Vajrabhairava (Diamond Terrifier) and abides in the yoga of the four sessions, one will be free from such obstacles and quickly attain the state of Vajradhara (Diamond Holder). This is stated in many tantras such as the Manjushri Root Tantra. For example, when taking jewels from an island in the ocean, although one must rely on a boat, one must rely on a captain who is skilled in navigation, has great wisdom, knows the key to the jewel-taking site in advance, and possesses great merit. When boarding the boat and setting out on the path, if someone asks about the direction of the water flow, the way it turns, the distance, the timing of before and after, and how to deal with the mountains and winds, and receives the instruction to 'do it this way,' then the captain, by the power of his merit, will quickly take the jewels, eliminate poverty, and achieve all desired results. Similarly, by abiding in the yoga of the Yidam Vajrabhairava, generating the generation and completion stages of the path of bliss and secrecy in the continuum, one will realize the state of Vajradhara. This is said with an example to show its importance. So, what is it to abide in the yoga of the Yidam Vajrabhairava and generate the generation and completion stages of the path of bliss and secrecy in the continuum? Is it not possible to generate that path by possessing the pride of abiding in the Yidam Guhyasamaja (Secret Assembly) or Chakrasamvara (Wheel of Bliss)? Or, does Vajrabhairava possess the ultimate key to the generation and completion stages spoken of in the path of bliss and secrecy? To this, when the white and yellow rays of light increase my intelligence like the waxing moon, I will explain in detail. Although Guhyasamaja, Chakrasamvara, and others each have the characteristics of their respective tantras, glorious Vajrabhairava is taught from both the father and mother tantras. Especially from the Sambhuta Tantra of the mother tantra. Therefore, this Yidam possesses the ultimate key of both the father and mother tantras. When explaining the commentary on this Yidam, one key point...
