From these letters, five colors of light radiate, inviting the deities of the four lineages, who enter into these letters. When these are completely transformed, in the center is the black Vajra of the Wrathful One, with nine points and extremely raised horns, marked at the navel with हूँ (Tibetan, हूँ, hūṃ, Hum). In the four directions within, in order, are: head, hand, intestines, foot. In the four corners are: skull, skull-cup, charnel ground cloth, and a person impaled on a bright stake. Outside of that, upon the sun mandalas of the linen of the eastern deities, are the hooked knife, single-pointed weapon, mallet, water knife, kaṇaya, iron hook, buffalo, and bull. Upon those of the southern deities are the axe, arrow, staff, khaṭvāṅga, wheel, noose, pig, and donkey. Upon those of the western deities are the vajra, hand-drum, shield, bow, bell, wind-banner, drum, and dog. Upon those of the northern deities are the threatening mudra, three-pointed dart, ox-hide, hammer, spear, hearth, sheep, and fox. At the four gates are the vulture, owl, crow, and parrot. At the four corners are the kite, garuda, domestic bird, and mocker, each marked with its own seed syllable. From these, emanate tiny vajra images, thus emanating the four Buddhas, filling the entire sphere of space like a sesame pod. Abiding in the sun, they ripen sentient beings and cause them to attain the state of Vajra Bhairava, and simultaneously dissolve into the assembled vajra and other implements. When the moon, sun, implements, and seed syllables are completely transformed, they become the assembly of deities of the mandala of the forty-nine deities of Vajra Bhairava. The assembly of deities is as follows: In the center, upon a lotus of various colors and a seat of the moon and sun, is the one holding the fruit vajra, the great glorious Vajra Bhairava, abiding in the midst of the blazing fire of wisdom born from his body. In the first tier, in the four directions and four corners, beginning from the east, are: Vajra Head, Vajra Hand, Vajra Intestine, Vajra Foot, Vajra Skull Mother, Vajra Skull-cup Mother, Vajra Charnel Ground Cloth Mother, and Vajra Person Impaled on a Bright Stake Mother. In the second tier, upon the linen of the east, beginning from the east, in order, are: Vajra Hooked Knife. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
