May the pure and accomplished one with skillful hands, the earth lord of the east with black retinue, the earth lord of the south with yellow banners, the earth lord of the west with a leopard's tail, the earth lord of the north with a topknot, and so forth, may these kings of the earth lords be in harmony with the patron! Transformed into peace and well-being. Furthermore, the earth lords dwelling in the snowy mountains, and the gods, nagas, and medicinal spirits dwelling in the earthen mountains and shadows, and in the upper and lower parts of the valleys, and the lords, demons, and mighty lords dwelling in the rocky mountains, and the gods and nagas dwelling in springs and water sources, and furthermore, the Brahma of the fields, and the top deity of the castle, and the Be'u-rna dwelling in the foundations of the walls, and the youth dwelling in the eaves, and the Tri-nyen dwelling in the tombs and slaughterhouses, and the hearth deity, and the robe-wearer dwelling on the edge of the field, and the earth lords, nagas, and powerful ones dwelling in the five types of earth, may they be in harmony with the patron! Dhi citta pratīkha re bo bodhi citta uma ta ya ni ka sa ja. Dung dung raksha ha ha ma ram ram maha kala khar khar burta ngota yam yam kham dhu dhi svaha. Om murdhi murdhi svaha. Mara mer thum thum. By this great feast of heaven and earth, may all inauspiciousness become auspicious. Landlords, please be pleased! Great rock spirit, do not collapse! Great earth, do not crack! Great water, do not flood! Shooting stars, do not roll on the ground! Flames, do not fall on the ground! Violent hailstorms, do not fall! Do not send human diseases, livestock diseases, or epidemics! Do not send frost, hail, blight, or famine! Red Garuda, do not flap your wings! Blue dragon, do not clap your jaws! Yellow monkey, do not dance! White fish, do not wag your tail! Turquoise mouse, do not bark like a dog! Speckled pig, do not riot! Black snake, do not stick out your tongue! Brown yak, do not grind your horns! Spotted calf, do not get lost! Warm stone sheep, do not groan! Demons and Tsen spirits, do not be angry! May peace and happiness come! That which is called "Dharma" is to generate the supreme Bodhicitta and to benefit all sentient beings with great compassion. That which is called "Appearance" is to manifest all things in various ways of emanation. That which is called "Eight" is to open the path with the eight unmixed Dharmas. Therefore, by reciting this great Dharma of Heaven, Earth, and Eight Appearances, may the landlords and Naga spirits dwelling in the underground, above ground, and in the intermediate space be in harmony with the patrons! Furthermore, may the tree goddess, the glorious green light mother, the medicine goddess, the accomplished wisdom, the earth goddess, the steadfast mother, the great hand holding the earth, the Naga king Rabjye, and these five great lords, etc., not disturb the hearth and the furnace! May all sentient beings dwelling in the three realms be happy and well! Please increase the power of virtue! This Sutra of the Noble Eight Appearances is widely taught and praised! Truly taught! Clearly spoken! By the blessing of proclaiming this speech, may the landlords, gods, and Nagas all rejoice and be pleased, generate the supreme Bodhicitta, and attain peace and happiness!
