在尚未证悟明空任运成就时,跟随念头和分别念,否定因果(dper na rnam rtog snga phyi rnams bya ma rjes su bu sleb pa ltar rgyu 'bras 'brel mar 'byung ba'i rang bzhin can 'di med zer ba'i,例如,前后念头就像母鸡跟随小鸡一样,否定这种因果相连的自性),这就是断灭因果。

In general, one must understand on the basis of rigpa (觉性). There are three ways to go astray: In the experience of clarity, the eye consciousness wanders outward, and the clear awareness of the mind consciousness; the alaya consciousness is clear but without conceptualization, etc., among which the most important and biased is getting lost in the alaya. In any case, merely taking clarity as the object of mind consciousness and meditating on it will cause one to be born in any of the form realms depending on the strength of the practice. Taking the non-thought or emptiness experience after the disappearance of thoughts as the object of mind consciousness and meditating on it will cause one to be born in any of the four formless realms depending on the strength of the practice. For example, when a feeling of happiness arises from external causes and reaches a certain level, or when one feels very sad when one realizes that Detsang (a person's name) has passed away in the middle, if another person says that he has not died, one will be very happy and stay in samadhi, feeling very comfortable. Like this, taking the experience of happiness as the object and meditating through mind consciousness, or depending on the strength of the practice, one will be born in any of the six desire realms. Defiled virtuous deeds will also cause one to be born in these places. These are called the upper part of the grasping mind. Generally, the body is the basis of flesh and blood, consciousness is the basis of mind, and ignorance is the alaya. These three, etc., are what Mipham Rinpoche said. Generally, there are three: going astray, losing, and error, but there are four places of loss. In "Self-Liberation of Samsara" it says: The essence is pure from the beginning. When the aspect of Kadak (kadag,本来清净) (rig pa ngo ma zin na de'i,if the true nature of rigpa is not realized) is not realized, if one practices emptiness separately from अलग (梵文天城体,alaga, alaga, separate), it is said to be lost in the essence. For the vast self-existing rigpa (觉性) of the three kayas (sku gsum rang chas su yod pas gzhi 'bras dbyer med lam byed red, because the three kayas are inherently present, it is the path that is inseparable from the ground and the result), if one does not understand the spontaneous accomplishment of cause and effect, and seeks other results from the path of emptiness, it is lost in the path. Transcending both abandonment and antidote, like a snake knot unraveling ('od gsal gyi ngang la,in the state of clear light) and abiding in that state, on top of the experience, practicing other antidotes, it is lost in the antidote. Without realizing the spontaneous accomplishment of clarity and emptiness, following thoughts and conceptualizations, denying cause and effect (dper na rnam rtog snga phyi rnams bya ma rjes su bu sleb pa ltar rgyu 'bras 'brel mar 'byung ba'i rang bzhin can 'di med zer ba'i,for example, the preceding and following thoughts are like a hen following chicks, denying this nature of cause and effect arising in connection), this is annihilation of cause and effect. Furthermore, for the rigpa (觉性) that is free from affirmation and negation, the loss of knowledge in the essence is exhausted. For the great spontaneously accomplished three kayas, the loss of emptiness in the path is eliminated. For the simultaneous appearance and liberation from the beginning, other antidotes.
