Ah, please understand that you are very easy to understand, unforgettable, and full of kindness. Regarding this, recognizing appearances as unreal is the key true meaning. Seeking comfort, such as like a good spiritual friend, a lama, a virtuous good spiritual friend, everything depends on the place of dwelling, and without this, the mind cannot be calmed. It is to make samadhi abide or be stable. The standing posture, whether it is a rosary or something like a rope, is okay, he said. The object of focus, mountains, forests, grass, cliffs, etc., whatever you place as the object of focus is fine, he said. The yoga of illusion, accompanied by the distant song of Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, हूँ,hūṃ,seed syllable). In the realm of illusion, freely enjoy various things. That's it. When entering the path, liberation is achieved by purifying five hundred lifetimes. The so-called four directions, east, etc., each with one hundred and (this is important, don't confuse it, he said) twenty-five years, and the central direction, upon seeing the realm of the wrathful deities, by destroying the bonds of knowledge and the remaining enjoyment, because it is ripe to become a Buddha, therefore years need to be counted there. These five realms are the uncommon realms of the Nyingma school's unsurpassed yoga, he said. The common ones are the emanation body and the enjoyment body. Unlike that, this must be placed in the part where the basic sound manifests, so in reality, if reborn in the five realms, if placed on top of pure equality, or placed on top of awareness, it seems understandable. From now on, it is necessary to understand how to practice on the basis or manifest the way of abiding, he said. If you are not liberated in this life, you will be transferred to any of the five realms or the Copper-Colored Mountain of Glory during Guru Yoga, complete the remaining path, and must become a Buddha. Do as it is said, whether there are demon footprints or not. The end point of calculating the distant distance is the end point of what is actually seen, the end point of the sun's peak, and the end point of hell, whichever is fine, he said. The places you have been to before, you do not know other lives except for this present life. Afterwards, you need to generate the desire to reach such a place. The limitless Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, हूँ,hūṃ,seed syllable) alone, if reborn in a realm, if placed on top of awareness, if placed in a state of pure equality, then that is a woman, he said. Visualizations like demon footprints, and a Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, हूँ,hūṃ,seed syllable) filling a cubit, accompanied by the self-arisen light of the five wisdoms, the interdependent visualization of accomplishing the form body for the benefit of others and the dharma body for one's own benefit, etc., the power of luminosity must manifest in the state of wisdom. If all of this is encompassed by illusion, then the remaining

Even a logician must settle in vipassanā. In the east, it dawns in the state of luminosity, abides in the state of luminosity, and radiates in the field of luminosity. Having known that everything is in the field of luminosity, one must practice, it is said. When training the mind, the preliminary of Trekchö (Tibetan: ཁྲེགས་ཆོད་) is to demolish the house of the mind. There are three aspects to that: first, to investigate the root; second, to seek faults; and third, to examine the place of origin. The first is to investigate the root: Since samsara has no beginning or end, from here to there, the master of samsara, like a dog chasing, is there a chaser? Like a fish being led by a fishhook, is there a leader? If you examine it, there is nothing at all, it is just wandering on its own. The place of samsara, led by ignorance and clinging to reality, the illusory appearances of the mind in the three times of past, present, and future, this container and its contents from the peak of existence to the Avici hell, and the one who wanders in samsara, must have body, speech, and mind. Which of these three is the most important, and which is the root of samsara? Just as the people of Palyul (Tibetan: དཔལ་ཡུལ་) in the lower region say, he thinks about something, it is not enough to just say that the mind is the most important. If there is no body and speech, even if there is mind, one cannot say anything. If there is no mind, even if there is a body, it is a corpse. If there are no eye and ear faculties, which are like parts of the body, one cannot see or hear anything, so one does not know the principle of what to take and what to leave at first. In the middle, there is nothing to abandon or take, so in the end, there is no result to be obtained. If you examine such a principle, it is obvious which is the most important. Now, both Sutra and Tantra say that the mind is the most important. You must understand it that way. That mind cannot wander freely in samsara, so you must know karma. The three types of karma—virtuous, non-virtuous, and unwavering—exist in a cause-and-effect relationship, and samsara is formed by the power of karma, so karma throws beings into samsara. Karma leads beings into samsara. As it is said in the scriptures: Karma is like a painter. If you do not understand karma, cause and effect will become half good and half bad (Tibetan: ཤ་ཚ་མར་). The root of those karmas that throw beings into samsara lies in ignorance. Because ignorance grasps what does not exist as existing, it accumulates karma under the influence of attachment and aversion. Karma causes the body and speech of each existence to be formed. In the impure place of samsara, it is impossible to have only mind, except for those who have body, speech, and mind. In the pure upper realm of the three kayas, if there are no body, speech, and mind, there is only mind.
