Just as mentioned above, like the precious golden image of Sara, suddenly obscured by the defilements of afflictions, for these sentient beings, this self-nature pure realm exists. And, in order to manifest when the wisdom Dharmakaya of the Buddha enters and abides in sentient beings, and that the nature of reality, which is self-nature without defilement, has no difference between samsara and nirvana, in order to manifest the originally pure Buddha-nature, therefore that result is called Buddha, so it is said that all sentient beings have the essence of the Buddha. And, what are the three natures? The nature of this essence is the self-born wisdom Dharmakaya, and that which does not change, and also the lineage that can accomplish Buddhahood, these three. And, relative to temporary defilements, there is the time when that realm is defiled by defilements, and the time when both impurity and purity are present, and the time when it is completely pure, in order, the three names of sentient beings, Bodhisattvas, and Tathagatas are used to call and indicate. It is said like this. At the time of page fourteen, in the Sutra of the Abode of Manjushri, what Manjushri the Youth said: One does not cling to children, nor does one cling to the Dharma of children and the Dharma of Arhats. When one does not cling, at that time there is no discrimination. Completely unused. That is without use, without elaboration and peaceful, existence is not acknowledged, non-existence is not acknowledged, existence exists and non-existence does not exist is not acknowledged, existence is not and non-existence is not is not acknowledged. When one does not acknowledge, that is without clinging. That is free from all clinging, without mind and free from mind, abiding in the Dharma of practice in a way that has nowhere to abide. When this method was proclaimed, the five hundred monks of that retinue stood up from their seats and said: Do not look at Manjushri the Youth, do not listen, the direction in which Manjushri abides should also be abandoned. Why is that? Like this, when Manjushri the Youth appeared as the teacher,

Then (they) said, (you) show afflictions and complete purification as a single entity, (you) are speaking non-dharma. We think we have practiced Brahmacharya in the Dharma and Vinaya spoken by the Blessed One, and then they left. Then, Shariputra said to Manjushri: Five hundred monks stood up from their seats, said unpleasant things, and then left. Manjushri said: These five hundred monks said this, they do not look at Manjushri Kumara, nor do they listen (to his words). They said that the direction in which Manjushri Kumara dwells should also be abandoned, well said, well said! Shariputra, they spoke those words correctly. Why? Because Manjushri Kumara is non-existent, he is without an object of reference. Whatever is non-existent and without an object of reference cannot be seen or heard. The direction in which Manjushri Kumara dwells should also be abandoned, this is also because Manjushri does not exist, he is without an object of reference, then his dwelling place is also non-existent, he is without an object of reference. After hearing Manjushri's teachings, those monks returned there again, (saying) Manjushri, we do not understand what you have taught. Manjushri said: Monks, good! This is the behavior of the Shravakas of the teacher. Monks, regarding this, there is nothing to be fully understood, nothing to be separately understood. Why? Because the nature of Dharma abides in a non-abiding manner. It is non-existent, without an object of reference, without movement, without death and migration, and so on. After saying this, four hundred monks, without grasping, their minds were completely liberated from the outflows. One hundred monks were greatly agitated, and with that body were born in the Great Howling Hell, but because they heard this Dharma, they quickly arose from there, became equal to the gods of Tushita, were born there, and were prophesied to attain Arhatship in Maitreya's first assembly. And, in the Sutra Requested by the Son of God, Suprabha, Manjushri said: Sons or daughters of good family, if someone clings to the view of self and the view of sentient beings, then the perfect and complete Buddhas and the Sangha of monks that he offers, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, until
