A place that is governed and cared for. King Gesar buried a rare jade stone here as the life force and protector of this land. Since then, this place has been known as Yu Kok, or because this place resembles the skin of a white leopard, it is also known as the sacred place of Leopard Kok. Pastures filled with black and white livestock, where rulers with Dharma govern their subjects with peace. Many learned and accomplished great beings have appeared here, establishing Yukhak Thegchen Chokhor Ling and other monasteries one after another, and protecting this place through the three wheels of teaching and practice. In short, this is a place where the two systems (political and religious) flourish. In particular, near the sacred site known as Chuwar Tare, which is said to be the foremost of the sacred sites of Gyalmo Tsawa Rong in the east, and which is blessed by the twenty-one forms of the noble Tara, a place filled with clouds of blessings and adorned with trees, lakes, and flowers, a person with the flowers of auspicious marks was born. That is, to the couple, the father named Khyi Shul Tashi and the mother named Azi Balo, many sons and daughters were born, and this Rinpoche was born from the womb with wonderful signs on a good day at the beginning of the new year of the Water Male Monkey year (1832), the sixth year of the fifteenth Rabjung (1806). The other siblings of this Rinpoche are: Lama Draya Gyatso, Khyishul Khenpo Kulo, Lama Norlhun, Gotsha Tulku Tekchok Tenzin, Karma Dronma, Negyi, and others. It is said that two younger brothers drowned when they were young. This Rinpoche's childhood name was Pema Dorje, and when he grew up a little, his parents gave him to an old aunt as a son, so he also herded livestock and did what he could with the other children. It should be known that the actions of holy beings are not entirely determined by the capacity of those to be tamed. Some awaken their innate wisdom from the beginning and show peaceful and gentle behavior; while others initially show all kinds of uncertain behavior, and this Rinpoche belongs to the latter. That is, when he grew up a little, he often carried a gun on his back and wore a sword.

Please guide me. He only engaged in unique activities, such as solely engaging in horse racing, which were mostly different from others. However, all the villagers could not comprehend him, leading to distrust. They regarded him as a wild and cruel person, and not only were all the villagers afraid and fearful of him, but they also maliciously slandered him, calling him "A-dzi's madman." Once, when Geshe Gyalpo went to Chuwar Kok for a hot spring retreat, he piled up many trees from a narrow road, causing all the officials' horses and mules to be dragged on the ground, but no harm was done. Also, there was a lake called "Black Lake" in that place, said to be inhabited by a cruel dragon, where even making loud noises by the lake would cause hail to fall. But he led many children there and piled up many boulders without any adverse effects. Although there were many such wondrous deeds, few people believed him. Furthermore, he would snatch the herdsmen's food and eat it, beat them and enslave them, and so on. Later, it was realized that most of his actions became a means of removing obstacles in life. At that time, in the place of Tare, there was a master named Hor Lama Zhenpen Ozer, who was considered to be an emanation of the accomplished Acharya Salé, a great and sacred treasure revealer. With his wisdom of seeing the three times, he taught him the basics of reading and so on, and helped him through many skillful actions. He became an extraordinary guru, and his kindness was clearly stated in later petitions. Thus, he lived in his homeland with uncertain behavior until the age of eighteen. Second, regarding awakening and relying on Gyangkhang Kyabgon Rinpoche at Sermai Lhatse Monastery: Thereafter, when this lord reached about eighteen years of age, as a sign of the awakening of his mind, a genuine renunciation of samsara motivated his mind. One day, he suddenly came near Hor Lama Rinpoche Yukhar Monastery, dressed as before, while Hor Lama was reciting scriptures. He sought help from Hor Lama Zhenpen. Hor Lama was somewhat displeased and came over to him, saying: You should not do this.
