Without abandoning worldly dharma, one cannot attain transcendental dharma. Light and darkness are contradictory. Now, it is very important not to reverse the combination of cause. Not going astray on the path, there will be no deviation in the fruit, so it was said. Again, it was said, "Ston Sod, there is a habit of not listening to worldly trifles. If one engages in the activities of worldly dharma, how can one attain the Bodhi fruit of transcendental dharma? Those who desire the fruit of liberation, if they only look at worldly eyes, there will be deviation. If this demon who cherishes worldly dharma is not overcome, do not expect other demons. If one cannot turn one's mind away from worldly pleasures, one cannot obtain the Dharma. Therefore, the root of Prince Siddhartha's abandonment of the kingdom lies in this," so it was said. Gya Ton said, "According to the Mahayana tradition, if one is devoted to benefiting others, one does not need to strive for one's own benefit," so it was said. To this, the teaching was bestowed. "Ston Drag, there is a saying that it is right or wrong. In doing benefit to others, one must first perfect one's own benefit. If oneself is not mature, one cannot benefit others. The root of the Protector of Beings, Shakyamuni's six years of asceticism on the banks of the Nairanjana River lies in this," so it was said. Gya Ton said, "What is the virtuous practice of the Buddha Shakyamuni's asceticism?" To this, "You masters of sutras, tantras, and treatises do not know. The lords of the explanatory tantras, those who are proficient in doctrine, have lost the practice. For the practice lineage, this is very important. The lion among men, the prince, the descendants of Acharya Black, have received the blessing. This Prince Siddhartha practiced mind training for forty-one days in the Land of the Light Net, and then, according to the instructions of the tantra, embarked on the corresponding path, which is the rope of dependent origination. See you tomorrow or the day after," so it was said. If asked, "What is the name of the Dharma that practices this rope?" The teaching was bestowed, "This is the secret instruction of the Perfection of Wisdom, which is in accordance with the secret mantra, and is adorned with the greatness of skillful means and dependent origination," so it was said. Gya Ton said, "I have not been to India. Starting from Nepal, I asked the holders of the four tantra instructions a little, and I do not understand this Dharma terminology very well. How was this uncommon blessing transmitted from the beginning?" So he asked. The teaching was bestowed, "It is here."

There are six lineages from the source of excellence. First, the source of wisdom is transmitted from Bengal in the east; second, the source of wonder is transmitted from the sandalwood grove of Vishva Krodha in the south; third, the source of blessing is transmitted from the land of the Dakinis in Oddiyana in the west; fourth, the source of jewels is transmitted from the golden island in the northern ocean; fifth, the source of enjoyment is transmitted from the Naga palace below; sixth, the source of bliss is transmitted from the Tushita heaven above. Are these six different lineages only one practice of asceticism? I asked if they each possessed different teachings. He replied: Each has different instructions, called the root lineage of Prajnaparamita. The other four, the lineage from the Sugata, and the wonderful lineage of the Lama who travels in the sky, are branches. Then, knowing the thoughts of Gyaton, he said: The ultimate oral transmission, permission, and mind training are transmitted from the south. The essence of the three pitakas, the introduction to the symbols of dependent origination, is transmitted from the north. The empowerment of the meaning of co-emergence, the blessing of the later letters (referring to mantras), is transmitted from Oddiyana. The skill of dependent origination, the gathering of causes and conditions, is transmitted from Bengal. The experience of Abhisamaya, the clinging to phenomena, is transmitted from the Tushita heaven. The unchanging Vajra words are transmitted from the Naga below. Again, knowing the thoughts of Gyaton, he said: Those who have previously possessed the power of hearing, thinking, and meditating, each of these instructions will liberate. This is the excellent precious one, the incarnate body who transcends ordinary people, who, in order to place untamed beings in the balance, combines everything and takes it as a condition for one person, is a path that is unlike any crooked path. There is no one who encounters this and does not practice it. Because they have no merit and wander in samsara, I feel compassion from the bottom of my heart. Again, the thoughts of Gyaton arose in his mind, and he said: Ston Sod is even more excellent than that. Someone like Mila (Jetsun Milarepa) will also appear. The Brahmin named Kokalika
