Will manifest complete and perfect enlightenment. ' Thus it is said. (In the Mother Tantra) These Samadhi of withdrawal are the same in meaning as the Samadhi of contemplation, because the noble Avalokiteshvara and others have spoken of them, therefore one should have faith. The object of meditation, experience, and attainment of the Samadhi of withdrawal, symbolized by the ten aspects, is like imprinting an image on a mirror of emptiness and form; these are to be attained. As it is said in 'Immaculate Light': 'Separated from things that are and are not, possessing all supreme aspects, is the Siddhi of Mahamudra.' The fourth empowerment is also the meaning of the empowerment of wisdom and primordial awareness. In the glorious Kalachakra it is said: 'Wisdom and primordial awareness are the mind and its appearances, which also transform into the ten aspects. The empowerment is like the image of a spotless rabbit in a mirror; whoever enters into this, from it arises the unchanging bliss of Nirvana, the co-emergent unchangeable is the fourth. ' Whoever's heart and face are the abode of the Buddha's face, he is the limb of glorious contemplation. In the glorious Tantra it is said: 'Contemplation is also wisdom, investigation, joy, and unwavering one-pointedness of mind.' Thus, the five limbs are spoken of: wisdom is looking at emptiness and form, investigation is seeing the gross emptiness and form, examination is carefully ascertaining the constant and unwavering nature of emptiness and form, joy is the happiness of mind from seeing emptiness and form, unwavering bliss of one-pointedness of mind is: the mind becoming like mingled with emptiness and form, thereby obtaining the bliss of extreme pliancy of the body. Thus, there are five limbs. Moreover, first seeing emptiness and form through withdrawal, then stabilizing it through contemplation. (Withdrawal and contemplation are initially virtuous guides.) The limb of life-force exertion is: blocking the life-force from flowing in the two channels, the right and left, and exerting it into the central channel, Avadhuti, and meditating on emptiness with all supreme aspects. The limb of holding is: having entered through the yoga of life-force exertion, causing it to enter from the navel to the forehead, holding it in a manner without going in and out, and meditating on emptiness with all supreme aspects. (Life-force exertion and holding are virtuous guides in between.) The limb of remembrance is: through the limb of holding, after the life-force has become stable in the central channel, from the nature of the inner heat of the navel, Avadhuti... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From the fire of wisdom, the 'Hum' (藏文:ཧཾ་,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) syllable of the crown chakra melts, Experiencing the four joys as the bindu flows through the four chakras, and firmly holding the vajra-ratna, not moving outwards, focusing single-mindedly on the form of emptiness, this is the yoga of the bindu. The limb of samadhi is: causing the bodhicitta to descend between the vajra and ratna, and then ascending again, Through the power of obtaining immutable bliss, in the state of indivisible bliss and emptiness, focusing single-mindedly on the form of emptiness, this is the subtle yoga. (Remembrance and samadhi are ultimately the guidance of virtue.) Therefore, in order to accomplish the siddhi of Mahamudra, the yogi should practice the non-conceptual samadhi of the completion stage in equipoise, the six-limbed yoga. For the benefit of post-meditation, one should accumulate merit. The way to practice this is: first, generate loving-kindness, compassion, and bodhicitta, and then dedicate the root of virtue to perfect enlightenment. Third, the fruit of practicing these is vajra yoga, which has two aspects: temporary and ultimate. First, when the form of emptiness of retraction becomes stable and the mind becomes pure, one obtains the ability to bestow supreme blessings through words, and so on. Through meditation, one obtains the five supernormal powers; through prana-yama, one is offered and praised by the bodhisattvas; through the limb of holding, the form of emptiness, which is the nature of the ten powers (bala), becomes like a single mind, and demons and afflictions diminish; Through the limb of remembrance, one's own body appears as a mandala of light, and rays of the five wisdoms radiate from the pores, pervading the sky; through the limb of samadhi, one obtains the samadhi of indivisible bliss and emptiness, and after three years and three months of practice, one becomes a great bodhisattva who has obtained the wisdom body of the ten freedoms, and so on. Second, the ultimate fruit is: In the glorious Kalachakra it is said: 'Smoke and so on are the co-emergent bliss of the path, and by practicing this, here, the lord of thirty-two beings, the body with the signs and marks, truly abides in the wheel of dharma. The light of the jewels on the heads of the gods touches the lotus at the feet.' Like the sun, he shows the holy path, destroys all darkness, and becomes the Kalachakra.' Therefore, the ultimate fruit is Vajradhara, who possesses the four bodies and five wisdoms.
