Collected Teachings of Tsemonpa Sonam Sangpo JTSZ15: 'The Clear Moon: An Introduction to the Six-Branched Yoga' 3-12 'The Clear Moon: An Introduction to the Six-Branched Yoga' 'The Clear Moon: An Introduction to the Six-Branched Yoga' Secret for those who have not received the initiation. Romanized Sanskrit: namaḥ śrī kālacakrāya, Literal meaning: Homage to glorious Kalachakra). In the center of the lunar crest is yaṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: यं, Romanized Sanskrit: yaṃ, Literal meaning: wind seed syllable), the sun is empty in the vajra vase. E-vaṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: एवं, Romanized Sanskrit: evaṃ, Literal meaning: union seed syllable) is inseparable bliss and emptiness, I prostrate to the Wheel of Time. Here, the ultimate completion stage of all tantras, the profound path of Vajra Yoga with three ultimate confidences, experiencing the meaning through non-conceptual samadhi, is introduced in three aspects: the basis to be meditated upon—Vajra Yoga, the path of meditation—Vajra Yoga, and the result of meditation—Vajra Yoga. First, the yogi, in seamless darkness and cloudless sky, without discrimination, without examination, with mind unscattered, abides in single-pointed concentration. At this time, appearances arise in various forms such as smoke, mirage, fireflies, burning flames, as well as yellow, white, red, black, lightning-like flashes, and blue, green, and other colored bindus. These appearances are also called the clear light of one's own mind, also called the emptiness that possesses all perfections, also called the Mahamudra, and also called the Dharmakaya. Although it naturally exists as the nature of one's own mind, it has not been seen before due to being obscured by the darkness of ignorance. 3-13 As mentioned above, without being defiled by thoughts of existence or non-existence, abiding in single-pointed concentration, one can directly see the clear light of one's own mind in the expanse of the cloudless sky. Among them, the various empty forms such as smoke are the clear light of one's own mind. As stated in the 'Door to Non-Duality': 'Smoke, mirage, sky appearance, lamp flame burning sun and moon, dark part, large point, and clear point, various images, clear light appears.' The 'Stainless Light Tantra' says: 'That which is taught by ultimate truth is the supreme of all aspects that transcends the world, for the sake of accomplishing the siddhi of the Great Seal, it is posited by one's own mind, free from all dharmas. Just as young women adorn themselves with mirrors and the like, so too, yogis directly perceive the clear light of their own minds appearing in the sky, granting the fruit of desired meaning.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The fruit: is the unchanging mind of blissful wisdom. The unity of these two minds is the essence of wisdom and skillful means, the great meaning of Vajra Yoga, the supreme, unchanging primordial Buddha, non-dual, Kalachakra, Bhagavan Vajrasattva, widely known in all other tantras. Bhagavan himself, as the characteristic of the cause, in the aspect of the Paramitas, is called the Svabhavikakaya (Essence Body) of Prajnaparamita. As it is said in the verses of the Abhisamayalankara, Maitreya clearly pointed out the four activities: 'The Essence, Enjoyment, and, likewise, the Other Emanation, the Dharmakaya together with activities, are truly spoken of as four aspects.' This is similar to 'pra' (藏文:པྲ་,梵文天城体:प्रा,梵文罗马拟音:pra,汉语字面意思:啪), the luminosity, completeness, the emptiness-form endowed with all perfections, and the bliss of unchanging nature, are inseparable, and this is said to be the Svabhavikakaya of Kalachakra and Vajrasattva. Also, in the Kalachakra it is said: 'In order to abandon all attachments held by yogis, Vajra Yoga is non-dual, abandoning permanence and annihilation, transcending worldly minds, completely abandoning the notions of existence and non-existence, like a young girl 'pra' (藏文:པྲ་,梵文天城体:प्रा,梵文罗马拟音:pra,汉语字面意思:啪) on a mirror, directly seeing what is not tainted by one's own mind, having the meaning of faith, all aspects arising from space, Samantabhadra, possessing all powers, abiding in the nature of all sentient beings, co-emergent joy, devoid of reason and example.' Also, in the Kalachakra it is said: 'Here, the essence of emptiness and compassion, the completely pure mind, like a young girl 'pra' (藏文:པྲ་,梵文天城体:प्रा,梵文罗马拟音:pra,汉语字面意思:啪) on a mirror, is not the characteristic of form, because there are no atoms. Nor is it the characteristic of formlessness, because there is the form of emptiness.' Also, in the Kalachakra it is said: 'Here, the wisdom of the Tathagata is said to be the realization that all dharmas are without self-nature, all things are the characteristic of non-existence, but it is not a deeply sleeping mind. In the Prajnaparamita it is also said: 'Whatever mind there is, that mind is not mind.' It means that the mind is naturally luminous.' Also, in the Ashtasahasrika Prajnaparamita Sutra it is said: 'Mind is not mind, the nature of mind is luminous.' In the Lankavatara Sutra it is said: 'The mind is naturally luminous, afflictions such as thought.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
