explains. Vajra Mother means vajra is emptiness, which is the three doors of liberation. The Vow Tara is that with the vows of sentient beings, she liberates sentient beings from samsara, which is the activity of the Dharmakaya. This is taught by the twenty-one (Taras). Third, among those texts of the certain names that are kept separately, it is commonly known as the twenty-eight names. In the oral instructions of the great accomplished Shantipa, it is considered that the number of names is not fixed at eighty-eight, which seems comfortable. However, the teacher Mi'i Nyima considers that there are thirty-five names. Regarding the necessary connection of the text of certain names, the great commentaries on the tantras composed by the noble teacher Gyangwai Dorje, Paro Panchen, and Marme Dze Pal, all agree that there are twenty-eight. Among them, the twenty-one names are the classification and summary combined with the homage to the twenty-one, as mentioned above. On top of the twenty-one, adding the names Great Bhagavati Mother, Supreme Queen of all Tathagatas, as well as Tathagata, Vajra, Jewel, Lotus, Lord of all Karma families, the agent of moving and non-moving, the nature of appearing and shaking, more secret than secret, Great Secret Powerful Mother, these seven are added to make twenty-eight. What the great accomplished Shantipa considers is that the following thirty-five and those seven, plus the Vow Tara that also appears here, make forty-three. Some count the lords of each of the five families as one name each, so there are forty-seven ways of saying it. There are also those who separate Secret, Most Secret, and Extremely Secret, and separate Great Secret and Powerful Mother, thus dividing it into fifty ways of saying it. It is said that the phrase "having five vajra crowns" is missing, which is a mistake in the text. These are the commentaries on the certain names, and those that appear in Atisha's commentary on the tantra, combined and expanded in the above way, and adorned with the oral instructions of the supreme guru.
