When dancing and singing are performed, countless pleasing sounds arise from all moving and unmoving things. Sentient beings feel comfortable and at ease, their wisdom increases, and beautiful melodies naturally express countless meanings. When gods, yakshas, humans, and nagas behave improperly, if that goddess also turns away, then all sounds will disappear, and all people will speak incoherently. At that time, she is known as Saraswati. She greatly favors truth, discipline, and non-harm. She does not like actions contrary to these. This is also a saying that has been passed down since then. Many Saraswati goddesses emanate from her body, intending to benefit sentient beings. If an extremely outstanding Saraswati goddess were to appear, all beings would become wise. However, due to the cause of shared karma, at the time of the manifestation of eighty-four thousand goddesses, the lineage is interrupted due to mental disturbances, and that is why there are so few wise people in the world. It is said that this is the reason. There are many stories about her in the ancient legends of Linga and Markandeya, but they will not be elaborated on here. Furthermore, in the Brahmanical scriptures, among the twenty-four creators, Saraswati is considered the creator of speech. She is also called Saraswati (Sanskrit, Devanagari: सस्वती, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: sarasvatī, Chinese literal meaning: Goddess of Water). Sara (Sanskrit, Devanagari: सर, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: sara, Chinese literal meaning: lake) is a lake, and Suti (Sanskrit, Devanagari: सुती, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: sutī, Chinese literal meaning: daughter) is a daughter. By inserting "Sa (Sanskrit, Devanagari: स, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: sa, Chinese literal meaning: essence)" and "A (Sanskrit, Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ā, Chinese literal meaning: come)" abruptly between "Su (Sanskrit, Devanagari: सु, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: su, Chinese literal meaning: good)" and "Ti (Sanskrit, Devanagari: ती, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: tī, Chinese literal meaning: riverbank)," it becomes Svasti (Sanskrit, Devanagari: स्वस्ति, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: svasti, Chinese literal meaning: auspicious). It means born from a lake or daughter of the ocean. Svara (Sanskrit, Devanagari: स्वर, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: svara, Chinese literal meaning: sound) Svasti (Sanskrit, Devanagari: स्वस्ति, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: svasti, Chinese literal meaning: auspicious). Saraswati is, Svara (Sanskrit, Devanagari: स्वर, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: svara, Chinese literal meaning: sound): sound, Vati (Sanskrit, Devanagari: वती, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vatī, Chinese literal meaning: having) means having, which is the feminine meaning. The accent mark becomes "S (Sanskrit, Devanagari: स्, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: s, Chinese literal meaning: having)." Svara Saraswati (Sanskrit, Devanagari: स्वरस्वती, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: svarasvatī, Chinese literal meaning: Goddess of Sound), or adding "Sak (Sanskrit, Devanagari: सक्, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: sak, Chinese literal meaning: power)," it becomes Svara Svasti (Sanskrit, Devanagari: स्वरस्वस्ति, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: svarasvasti, Chinese literal meaning: Auspicious Sound). Therefore, the speaker of this scripture is the Bhagavan Mother. The general history of sound will be discussed elsewhere. How did this sutra come about? Now it is called Marahata in common language. In the southern part of the sacred land, in Maharashtra, which is called the great region, there was a Brahmin, born into a pure caste, possessing the glory of celibacy, proficient in all internal and external scriptures, mastering the ocean of sound, and constantly worshiping and practicing the sacred mother Saraswati. His name was Anubhuti. At another time, he came to the central region, to the village of Raudasi near Varanasi.
