It is mentioned here. "Mountain" refers to the chief mountains such as Mount Yoke-holding, and small mountains such as Mount Kailash and Mount Mandara. "Forest" refers to the seven or twelve great forests, etc. Mountains and forests are mentioned because ascetics wander and reside there, so "prosperity on earth" means the vastness of the earth. The other words mean that it is more excellent than the desire realm, and that it is not even in the land of the gods, thus showing that it is more excellent than all actions in the three realms. This is another way of saying the meaning of the sutra, and the meaning of this sutra is explained by the venerable Vasubandhu, and Tara Natha explained it in an easier way. Shubham! The commentary on the second chapter is complete. Homage to the Lama! The Dharani of the second chapter is: the eight faults and the Dharma that remedies them, the form mantra, and its benefits, which are shown in four summarized meanings. The first is: Buddha and contempt for the Dharma, etc. This does not arise from the Hinayana Vinaya Pitaka, but from the Mahayana. The words and meanings of the sutra seem contradictory but are not contradictory, and many are said to eliminate these eight faults. Specifically, in order to eliminate contempt for the Buddhas of the past, the immeasurable life and pure land of the Tathagata Vipashyin, etc., and the perfection of the retinue are mentioned. Then, in order to eliminate the contempt that the teacher Shakyamuni Buddha is very small, it is said: At that time, at that moment, I was the perfectly enlightened Buddha Vipashyin. Like this, this is also the way the previous body followed, whether it is different or the same is fine, because the Buddha has already attained enlightenment, so they all think that the essence is the same. Just as the water of the Ganges also flows into the great ocean, and the ocean is both the Ganges and the Indus, this refers to equality. Contempt for the Dharma means: the twelve scriptures or the three pitakas, because outcastes and nuns who have broken their vows can also hear them, so it is common, thinking that it is easy to obtain or a bad saying. To this, the Tathagata said

The merit of the true Dharma is that it is the antidote to all afflictions and suffering, and the cause of all wisdom and happiness. Therefore, as it is said, "If one were to attend to and honor as many Tathagatas as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, one would develop knowledge of the Great Vehicle." This shows that it is very difficult to obtain, as it must be accomplished from an immeasurable number of complete causes. In general, just the true Dharma, and especially just hearing the Dharma of the Great Vehicle, is certainly very difficult to obtain. However, the reason for saying that is that those trainees at the time understood that so many causes were needed to generate the wisdom of hearing about the Great Vehicle Dharma, so they would abandon contempt for the Dharma and become respectful. In reality, merely wisdom that is not heard, is not pure wisdom, therefore, it is intended that so many causes are needed to generate the wisdom of directly seeing the meaning of the Great Vehicle. This is because, from the accumulation of merit in one immeasurable kalpa, the wisdom of the path of seeing arises. Laziness is, relying on causes such as distraction, discouragement, laziness, and attachment to desires.

It is not contradictory that it is possible to accomplish great things, and that it is necessary to accumulate many causes and conditions to accomplish great things immediately or directly. Similarly, sometimes generosity is highly praised, and sometimes generosity is disparaged and discipline is praised, etc., in various ways depending on the minds of those to be tamed, which is not contradictory. When it becomes an antidote to stinginess, generosity is especially able to give, and for those who are not suitable for discipline etc. for the time being, because generosity itself is of great benefit, generosity is praised. When it becomes an antidote to those who hold generosity as supreme, and think that just that is enough, but for those who have the potential for discipline, in order to settle them in discipline, generosity is disparaged and discipline is praised. In reality, because discipline is superior to mere generosity. The antidote to attachment is to be attached to one's own possessions and utensils, and to think that they are good. For this reason, the wealth and enjoyment of pure lands such as Sukhavati are shown to be complete, so that one does not become attached to one's own bad enjoyment, and one will aspire to be born in that pure land. The antidote to pride is for gods and humans, etc., those who are proud of their body, enjoyment, power, strength, life, wisdom, and lineage, etc., who do not worship the Three Jewels, or do not respect the Three Jewels, or have not seen the truth, the immeasurable life of the Tathagata Amitabha, etc., and the greatness of the retinue, etc. are shown. Hearing these, pride will subside, and regretting the previous state, they will confess and take vows, and respect for the Three Jewels will arise, thereby purifying the continuum, and thus being able to see the truth, etc. Regret is, in general, it is inevitable to regret having done something that should not have been done, but considering those who are unable to focus their minds because of excessive regret, and have not gained any difference in merit from it, for the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, whoever harms them, all these people will go to heaven. It is like saying that hearing these words, the power of regret will be weakened, so that the mind can abide, and many differences in merit can be obtained from it. Holy
