One should also make such aspirations, and according to this meaning, the conduct of a Bodhisattva will undoubtedly enter this liberation. In order to understand this, (kalpa) and (kalpa) are repeated twice, which means many. In so many kalpas, the ten directions are inexpressible, and the number of dust motes that are again inexpressible are equal. Each one again experiences the time like an ocean of kalpas, and comes through the order of formation, duration, destruction, and emptiness in succession. In order to purify so many Buddha lands, and in order to ripen all sentient beings, all of this is integrated into one essence of emptiness, compassion, and skillful means of wisdom. Repeatedly summarizing with the mind, one can complete the purification well and obtain freedom, which is the meaning of emphasis. This is called the Samantabhadra Prayer, which is said by the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, or because it obtains the perfect benefit of oneself and others, it is all beautiful, and because it is free from all faults, it is all good, so it is a common name for Buddhas and all Bodhisattvas. Moreover, this prayer also contains all the Bodhisattva practices, so it is the prayer of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. It is also called the Excellent Conduct, which is in terms of Samantabhadra's conduct, or it is both excellent and conduct, that is, the Excellent Conduct, which is the conduct of a Bodhisattva. It is good at the beginning when hearing, it is also good in the middle when thinking and practicing, and it is also good at the end when attaining Buddhahood. This is the Bodhisattva's childhood stage, and it is also said to be a prayer of aspiration like a shepherd. In the actual explanation of the text, in the commentary of the auspicious direction elephant, the seven branches are listed one by one, as well as the differences of dedication, its ending, and the summary of ten kinds of meanings such as benefits. If it is said in this way, it will be easy to understand. The seven branches of purifying the continuum, the differences of the main prayer text, the display of the ending and benefits of the prayer text, and the dedication of the prayer text itself with benefits, there are four meanings in total. First,

Prostration and offering, confession of misdeeds and rejoicing in merit, turning the wheel of Dharma and requesting the Buddha to remain, dedicating the roots of virtue, these are the seven branches. The first branch is prostration, first a general explanation: In all places of the ten directions of the world, all the lions among men who have passed away in the three times, I prostrate to them all with body, speech, and mind. Connect "in all places of the ten directions of the world," meaning not referring to a world with a quantity of one or ten, but prostrating to the Buddhas who exist in the infinite worlds of the ten directions. Moreover, not only the Buddhas who are now living in the world, but also the Buddhas who have passed away in the three times, passing away meaning having already appeared, so prostrating to all the Buddhas who have appeared in the past, are appearing now, and will appear in the future. Who is prostrating? I am prostrating. To whom do you prostrate, possessing the distinction of the ten directions and three times? The lion among men is the Buddha. All, without remainder, all. I prostrate to all of them. How do you prostrate? Not being urged by others, but with great joy, prostrating with all three, body, speech, and mind. That is (the branch of prostration). Why is the Buddha called the lion among men? The lion can subdue all wild animals and has no fear, similarly, it also appears in human births, able to subdue the Maras and heretics, etc., subduing all gods and humans, and having no fear regarding its own body, speech, mind, and activities. What is the necessity of prostrating to many Buddhas? If the merit of prostrating to just one Buddha is immeasurable, then the merit of prostrating to immeasurable Buddhas is even more immeasurable than immeasurable. The detailed explanation is divided into three parts, first the prostration of the body: With the power of the aspiration of the Good Conduct Prayer, all the Buddhas appear vividly in the mind, and with bodies as numerous as the dust of the Buddha-fields, I prostrate to all the Buddhas. The aspiration of the Good Conduct Prayer refers to the aspiration for the Good Conduct, with the power of aspiration for this conduct, the Buddhas, that is, all the Buddhas, even if they cannot be seen with the eyes, can be believed in the mind.
