The Acarya is also the Black One. If 'Carya' is added to the end of Kahna and Krsna, it becomes Kahnacarya and Krsnacarya, meaning 'one who practices blackness'. Also, Caryacarya means 'the Acarya who practices'. Similarly, Carya Vajra means 'the Vajra of practice'. Acarya Caryadharipa means 'the Acarya who holds practice', and so on. This one was born in the Brahmin caste in the land of Oruvisa, which is part of the eastern Gaura kingdom of the noble land, a place slightly near Bhadgala. In that land, he was born into the Brahmin caste out of the four great castes. In some old Tibetan histories, it is said that he was of the royal family, but in the Doha of the Acarya himself, he said, 'Touching, touching, he goes, the son of a Brahmin.' Although there is an explanation that applies the symbolic meaning of this to the completion stage, the symbol must also agree with the conventional reality. Therefore, this statement proves that the Acarya was of the Brahmin caste. In India, from ancient times until now, this Acarya is very famous in all respects, and everyone unanimously knows that he is of the Brahmin caste. Furthermore, this Acarya was born in India, not in Tibet. If one denies that his lineage is known to everyone in India and says the opposite in a country like Tibet, where it is not known, then this is true because the speaker is a good person. Such a statement is not good, because its meaning is equivalent to 'the king of a prostitute's lies'. Then, from a young age, he was intelligent and skilled in all fields of grammar, medicine, and crafts. There, his past karma awakened, and many wisdom yoginis appeared to him directly. Then, gradually, he went to the glorious Nalanda, which is part of the central Magadha region. There, five hundred panditas resided, and the Dharma school was very prosperous. He went there, became a monk, and stayed for many years, purifying his mind through hearing and thinking about the three pitakas and the four tantras. He also achieved mantras and samadhi as appropriate. There, he showed seclusion, and while he was meditating, the great accomplished yogini Lady Laksmi Kara appeared and blessed his lineage.

He attained special samadhi. There, some Vajra Dakinis emanated a light of sound from the sky, saying, "In the northern city of Jalandhara, there is a lama named Jalandharipa. If you rely on him, you will attain the desired siddhi." Hearing this, he went alone to Jalandhara. There, he met the siddha Jalandharipa. That master was a self-arisen, primordial, accomplished lord of yoga, extremely great. His bodily form also manifested many at once, residing in various different places with multiple bodies simultaneously. Although he had many disciples who attained siddhis, in that place, due to the time for taming those to be tamed, there was a commoner yogi who always lived as a beggar in an ordinary manner. There, abandoning the pride of a scholar, he respectfully prostrated at his feet and requested to be accepted. Knowing that he had the capacity, he properly conferred empowerment and bestowed all the instructions and subsequent instructions. After that, in one part of that land of Jalandhara, he meditated and resided on the meaning of the Vajrayana. Once, if he wished, he could pass through walls without obstruction, and if he wished, he could sink his feet into rocks or walk like dust. When he meditated in samadhi, he clearly saw himself manifest in the mandala of glorious Hevajra, and the deities, in the manner of questions and answers, dispelled the master's own doubts. Whenever he sang praises or vajra songs, there would be an earthquake, or a rain of flowers, or a sound, or a light would appear. There, when he considered whether it was time to engage in action yoga, some Vajra Dakinis appeared and prevented him. Again, while he was meditating and residing, some herding children, after playing, left behind some sword-shaped objects made of Ashoka wood. He picked up one of them and went to a tree, placed it in front of him, and meditated in samadhi. That sword burst into flames on its own, and when he picked it up, he rose into the sky and became endowed with clairvoyance. There, he thought that without the permission of the lama or the yidam,
