In the protective direction, on that red lotus foundation and all around the outside of the tent, is a vajra foundation, the tent ablaze with flames. Within all the flames, fierce and terrifying wrathful mothers emit loud sounds, filled with those holding various weapons. Beyond those, the sky above is covered with rain clouds and lightning. All around, hail of vajra flames arising from that falls. All the foundations below are visualized as a vajra foundation residing on the mandala of the four elements, with flames blazing intensely. Recite: Om Tare Tuttare Ture Sarva Dushtam Pradushtam Mama Krite Jambhaya Astambhaya Mohaya Bandhaya Hum Hum Hum Phat Phat Phat Vajra Raksha Chakra Sadhaya Sadhaya Hum Phat. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཏཱ་རེ་ཏུཏྟཱ་རེ་ཏུ་རེ་སརྦ་དུཥྚཾ་པྲ་དུཥྚཾ་མ་མ་ཀྲི་ཏེ་ཛམ་བྷ་ཡ་ཨ་སྟྭམ་བྷ་ཡ་མོ་ཧ་ཡ་བནྡྷ་ཡ་ཧཱུཾ་ཧཱུཾ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ་ཕཊ་ཕཊ་བཛྲ་རཀྵ་ཙཀྲ་སཱ་དྷ་ཡ་སཱ་དྷ་ཡ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ तारे तुत्तारे तुरे सर्व दुष्टं प्रदुष्टं मम कृते जम्भय स्तम्भय मोहय बन्धय हूँ हूँ हूँ फट् फट् फट् वज्र रक्ष चक्र साधय साधय हूँ फट्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ tāre tuttāre ture sarva duṣṭaṃ praduṣṭaṃ mama kṛte jambhaya stambhaya mohaya bandhaya hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ phaṭ phaṭ vajra rakṣa cakra sādhaya sādhaya hūṃ phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Tara, Swift Tara, Great Tara, all evil, extremely evil, for me, terrify, bind, delude, bind, Hum, Hum, Hum, Phat, Phat, Phat, Vajra, protect, wheel, accomplish, accomplish, Hum, Phat.) These are the great yoga of the generation stage, which is the preliminary stage. The main practice is: In general, among the four yogas of this tantra's system, the first yoga is the generation stage with the complete mandala, and the latter three yogas are the completion stage, so these are explained here. Afterwards, yoga has three parts: preliminary, main practice, and enhancement. The first is: The body is placed in the seven-point posture of Vairochana, the eyes gaze at the tip of the nose, and the mind is also focused there. Visualize a reddish-yellow light like smoke appearing and disappearing inside the nostrils. Or, the eyes gaze at the root of the nose, and the mind is focused on a shining white light spot at the space between the eyebrows. If these are uncomfortable, then as in practice, the eyes look slightly upwards at the sky a hand-span or an elbow-span above the space between the eyebrows, without making any conceptual elaborations, remaining in a natural state. Relying on these three methods, one will see the non-appearance of various signs, inner clarity, the light spot becomes stable, and the samadhi of shamatha without beginning or end arises. The second is, the foundation of yoga, when that shamatha becomes slightly stable, with inward-turning wisdom, one slightly observes self-awareness in the manner of recognizing its own nature. One rests in the inexpressible state of unceasing awareness and emptiness, and one should recognize that the mind is self-born. Whatever conceptual thoughts and appearances of objects arise, one should practice recognizing their own nature as soon as they arise, and conceptual thoughts are self-born.

in order to know. Likewise, it is said in the tantra: "If you examine whether things are true or false, you will see the false Vajra as true. That alone is pure in nature." Thirdly, there is the extraction of special powers through mantras, and the extraction of powers through subduing demons. The first is that although many kinds are mentioned in the tantras, these nine kinds are made in the oral instructions. The first is: "A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) is called the door of the unborn mantra." The meaning of what is said is that while abiding in the actual yoga, focus the mind on the heart center of the body, and think of a sound called A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A). If you analyze its essence, such a sound is not visible to the five senses, and it is not present anywhere inside or outside the body, so it is separate from all fixations. It appears clearly and uninterruptedly in the mind. If you look at it carefully and examine it well, you will rest in equanimity in the realm of no self-nature. Verbally say A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A), and see if there is any connection between that sound and the general sound of A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) that was previously conceived in the mind. That is, even if you think of something else in your mind, you can still verbally say A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A). Even while thinking of the general sound of the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A), you can see that other verbal expressions arise, so conclude that the two are unrelated, and rest in equanimity again and again. Because A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) is the root of all letters, knowing that its sound and meaning are without self-nature, you will realize that all speech is empty sound. If you are not sure even with just that, then establish it on the basis of other names and meanings, such as "Given by God." Think of any name of self-nature in your mind, and like the appearance of the word in general, determine that it does not exist in meaning, as before. There is also no connection between it and what is verbally said, as determined above. There is no connection between the sound and concept and one's own body and mind. If there were a connection, the form of that thing should appear only from that name. However, even if many other names are given to that thing, when the concept is established, the form of that and that appears. When the concept is not established, even if you say "Given by God," the form of the person Given by God does not appear. Know that all names are like this, and by resting in equanimity again and again, all sounds will
