From the hearts of the four action Taras, two emanate to the right and left, and they are situated to the right and left of the four directions of the central action cloth. Recite: Om Tare Tuttare Ture Spha-ra-na Hum Phet. On the right side of the east is the Bewildering Mother, riding a sheep and holding a trident and a snake. On the left is the Destroyer of All Poisons, riding a garuda and holding a vase. Both are white in color and slightly wrathful. On the right side of the north is the Stiffening Mother, yellow in color, riding a turtle and holding an iron chain. On the left is the Subduing Mother, also yellow in color, riding Mount Meru and holding Mount Meru. Both are powerful and have a foolish appearance. On the right side of the west is the Hooking Mother, riding a hariṇa (Sanskrit, Romanized: hariṇa, Chinese: deer) and holding an iron hook, using a noose to draw and drive the object to be hooked. On the left is the Pegging Mother, holding a peg, riding a violently shaking wind. Both are red and have a passionate appearance. On the right side of the south is the Expelling Mother, holding a wooden staff and riding a camel. On the left is the Splitting Mother, holding a knife and an iron chain, seated on a cushion of crows and owls. Both are smoky and extremely wrathful. There is also the visualization of the Splitting Mother holding a fire drill, residing on a buffalo and a horse. Then, generate the retinue. From the heart of the main deity, ཧཱུཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit hum, literal Chinese meaning: Hum) emanates, and they are situated in the inner four corners. In the southeast is Yama, the Lord of Death, black in color, with six faces, six arms, and six legs. The right hands hold a hammer, and the left hands hold a noose. Brahma and Vishnu are trampled under his feet. In the southwest is Achala, the Immovable One, black in color, holding a sword and a skull cup. Indra and Ishvara are trampled under his feet. In the northwest is Hayagriva, the Horse-Headed One, with a red body, four arms, holding a wooden staff, a lotus, a wheel, and a noose. On top of his head is a green horse head.
