I, regarding vipashyana, it is necessary to generate an experience of a view that is completely free from all elaborations. If this does not happen, then starting from a state where the mind abides in a dull state, it needs to be introduced as being uprooted. Except for a few very sharp individuals, many will fall into the meditation of Bon and Chinese Mahayana. That is inferior to the best samadhi of the tirthikas. If there is a pure shamatha-vipashyana, then in that state of not abandoning it, to introduce whatever arises as the path without alteration, this is an extremely profound instruction, it is the tradition of the great siddhas. In general, that good, common shamatha-vipashyana, even if one practices longevity pills, will come to have various increases and decreases depending on circumstances. If one grasps it with this method of taking whatever arises without alteration as the path, then one will immediately accomplish a state that is not changed by any circumstances. At that point, one is truly uprooted. Some do not need to go on the path of shamatha-vipashyana, nowadays Mahamudra is a shortcut. Some siddhas say that just like one can be liberated by a single introductory word. Those individuals who are like jewels, it is because of the power of previous practice that they are awakened by circumstances and liberated. But this is not suitable for beginners. Yogini বিনাসা (梵文天城体,Bināsa,梵文罗马拟音,Bināsa,无意思), like seeing a water bubble burst and being liberated. For ordinary people, even if they see a water bubble destroy three thousand worlds, how could they be liberated? However, if this method of taking whatever arises without alteration as the path does not go wrong, then even if one practices dully, one can balance the gross eight worldly concerns. But now most people, because they are introduced to the path of Bon, it seems that they are just passing the time and life. Therefore, in order to take hold of this key without making mistakes, first it is very important to have the mind abide. Whatever object one places attention on, it must be without clinging and completely focused. Do not place attention on external objects, but place the mind on the mind. Stabilize the mind in the same posture and physical points, then make all of these uncertain and train the mind as before. In meditation, do not have any dullness. Then, maintain the clear awareness of whatever arises of external appearances such as form and sound as before. Then, combine it with all activities, and maintain the essence of appearances such as sickness and suffering in the essence of clear awareness as before.

Kyang. When the daytime meditation continues uninterrupted, due to a slight difference in intention, one may fall into deep sleep at night and even have dreams, going to a peaceful environment. It is very important to maintain mindfulness of all of that. This is the second unique small booklet on settling the mind. Athihi. Homage to the Guru. Having gained stability in settling the mind, skillfully applying the three aspects of arising, abiding, and ceasing according to the instructions, a state will arise where there is mere appearance but nothing is established. Rest in that. It is necessary not to lose its essence, so it is very important to repeatedly interrupt and meditate again. That should also be skillfully applied and mixed in all the equal sequels of the previous four. Being able to mix everything, and with effort, the uncorrected becomes the path. Whatever good or bad appearances arise, as soon as they appear, one knows oneself, and in the moment of knowing, the essence is without arising, ceasing, coming, or going. It is not just understanding, but clearly seeing, and such a thing will arise: all the appearances above seem to be firmly established from oneself. Even if one wanders into nowhere, all appearances will not cease. At that time, there is no need to deliberately loosen or tighten, no need to deliberately focus, not meditating, not correcting. There is no need to modify whatever appears. Also, for very important meanings, such as contemplating the mind and the subtle meanings of the scriptures, it is necessary to maintain an uncorrected way of practice for that appearance. At that time, in meditation, there is no ego, no seeking negation or affirmation, and abandoning and adopting become equal. All appearances appear, but there is no apprehender or apprehended, and there is nothing to be gained. When one realizes one's own nature effortlessly, it is called rootless, or unchanging. Even after obtaining this, no matter how much one examines with wisdom and engages in elaboration such as the generation stage, it will not go beyond rootlessness, so it is very beneficial. If one boasts of afflictions as wisdom and hates elaborate virtuous deeds, that is a dharma that is mistaken in what to abandon and adopt. The third small booklet on rootlessness. Athihi. Homage to the Guru. Especially for taking the five poisons as the path, ordinary worldly people, using the five poisons at will, wander in samsara. From Tara and others, suppressing with love and so on, it is said that emptiness is cultivated to eliminate from the root, and also compassion.
