The intermediate conduct is: primarily acting for the sake of various sentient beings, and in the context of the upper and lower stages of manifest enlightenment, acting as the proximate cause for the great meaning of oneself and others. These are mostly based on the predominant aspects. Not only that, but also the various distinctions of times when engaging on the path of approaching enlightenment are not entirely fixed. The nature of conduct and so on is: the nature itself and others, is the necessity of conduct, self, and then again from then on. The distinction of places lies in time and ritual, determination, thought, desire, wisdom are also others. As shown, the nature of conduct is: all kinds of objects, pleasure and pain, desirable qualities, etc., are mixed into one taste with inner samadhi and meditated upon. How to conduct oneself is: with elaboration, without elaboration, or extremely without elaboration? Universally flourishing, universally good, the three that surpass all. Wandering in various realms with many mudra consorts and enjoying various desirable qualities. In them, acting with gestures and responses to gestures, and with extensive elaborations such as song and dance, is conduct with elaboration. Acting with appropriate mudras, abandoning most elaborations such as gestures, is conduct without elaboration. Abandoning action mudras, having only wisdom consorts, abandoning desirable qualities, is conduct extremely without elaboration. The necessity is to act in order to accomplish some accomplishments that have not yet been accomplished, and to make those that have been accomplished grow further. The place is to act while staying in one's own home, and to wander in twenty-four great places such as Pūlīramala, is the difference of places. The order of time is to first engage in conduct with elaboration, then conduct without elaboration, and then conduct extremely without elaboration. The ritual is to perform deity yoga in them, as well as the order of rituals such as mantra, samadhi, mudra, etc., in detail and brief. The thought is that the practitioner acts according to his own wishes, whichever of the three conducts he desires. Age is to engage in conduct with elaboration in youth, conduct without elaboration in adulthood, and conduct extremely without elaboration in old age.

Similarly, those with great attachment engage in actions with elaboration, those with less attachment engage in actions without elaboration, and those with very little attachment engage in actions with extremely little elaboration. Many mudras are with elaboration, few are without elaboration, and abandonment is extremely without elaboration. What is shown as the fierce conduct needed as a branch of conduct is that fierce union transforms into two types, done by those who are accustomed to emptiness in the two stages. One is as stated in the text: "Abiding in completion, like the meaning of worldly accomplishment, the end of the elephant master and the horse, is the entry of the conduct of signs." Therefore, with sinful actions, with the mind as a stake, or called fierce union, for the sake of accomplishment, the deity is brought down to the crucial point. Its union is of two types, which must be accomplished by the yoga of emptiness in the generation stage and the completion stage. First, the fierce union of the generation stage, for the individual who abides in the yoga of the generation stage, there are two types: one is the yogi who focuses on mantra, and the other is the one who focuses on the inner. For the yogi who focuses on the inner, fierce union is not necessary. However, it is necessary for the yogi who focuses on mantra. The meaning of "one" etc. is that the one with a stable coarse generation stage is the one who focuses on mantra. Therefore, in order to accomplish siddhis such as pills and eye medicine, if the practice is repeated three times and still not accomplished even after practicing for six months or more, at that time, performing fierce union such as inserting a stake into the mantra deity will accomplish the siddhi. Although some argue that the yogi of the completion stage does not need fierce union, in our own system, there are also cases where fierce union is needed in the completion stage. Its meaning is like "elephant master" etc.: the yogi of the completion stage, for the sake of the supreme siddhi, even if the practice is repeated three times and still not accomplished after practicing for six months, temporarily setting aside the practice of the completion stage, abiding in the conduct of the generation stage with signs, and the conduct of fierce union, will accomplish it. For example, a person climbs a high mountain, rides an elephant, and wins by fighting fiercely on the battlefield.
