One should make the (bindu) appear clearly in the mind, and just as it is about to disappear, focus the mind on the bindu. Afterwards, no matter what discursive thoughts arise, do not deviate from that bindu, but focus on it and practice, so that the force of discursive thoughts will naturally subside, and on the object of focus, samadhi will arise spontaneously. Then, intermittently, when the mind wanders to external objects, at the place where the mind wanders, visualize a bindu emanating from the heart, and focus the mind on this. When the discursive thoughts that wander to external objects cease, visualize that bindu dissolving into the bindu in the heart. Regarding this pith instruction, some teachings say that one can practice Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, hūṃ, seed syllable) to replace the bindu in the heart, or visualize Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, hūṃ, seed syllable) or a bindu in the center of the union of the sun and moon, and these are all acceptable. There are also some teachings that say that when not distracted by the gates of the senses, when focusing on the bindu in the heart alone, one should expose the knee joints, contract the lower air and draw it upwards, press the tongue against the palate, and recall the experience of the senses. It is said that this may be somewhat of an obstacle for beginners, but the experience will arise more quickly. Second, the seedless self-blessing: When visualizing oneself as the deity, visualize the unobstructed interior between the nostrils, like an empty eggshell, in which there is a reddish-brown light, like a misty haze on a mountain peak. When exhaling, visualize the breath not dissipating far away, but swirling around inside and outside the tip of the nose. When inhaling, visualize a reddish-white light arising from the light within the nostrils, passing through the root of the nose and entering the center of the body. When it reaches about four fingers below the navel, visualize its light pervading the entire body, thereby generating intense bliss. If one practices this constantly, bliss and emptiness without beginning or end will arise. When familiar with this, combine the visualization of the three syllables on that object: when inhaling, remember Oṃ (ཨོཾ, oṃ, seed syllable, perfection), when abiding, remember Āḥ (ཨཱཿ, āḥ, seed syllable, unborn), and when exhaling, remember Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, hūṃ, seed syllable, subjugation). This Vajra recitation comes from the oral instructions and is the view of Jowo Purangpa. After generating experience and stabilizing it, visualize the previous light within the eyeballs, and with the in and out breath, visualize it going in and out as before. Similarly, from the two ears, nose, tongue, and the center of the heart, also...

It should also be done that way. Meditate within the vajra tip, and when (the breath) enters the upper channel, it gathers in a swirling manner like mist forming on a mountaintop. When (the breath) exits, contemplate that the light touches the crown of the head, pervading the entire body, thus feeling comfortable. Similarly, one should also recite the three-syllable mantra from each of the sense gates. These also help to accomplish the five sensory perceptions and cause the appearance of objects to blaze as bliss and emptiness. In the absence of seed syllables, it is said that these six pleasures of the senses are acceptable even if they are not present, but it is good if they are. Second, the various vajra stages, divided into three: the various vajra stages with seed syllables, the various forms of vajra stages, and the various vajra stages without seed syllables. The first is, if it is considered that the holding of bindu has been accomplished through the previous stage, then focus the mind single-pointedly on the jewel combined with the karma mudra, thus holding the vase. However, for the time being, relying on one's own body is more important, so first perform the preliminaries as before. The secret of the wisdom sow, although the outer form does not change, the inner vulva, the source of dharma, faces upward, and within it, the skillful vajra truly resides, the outer form unchanged, the inner five-peaked vajra is reddish-white, the center empty. In the sky, one arrow-length above one's own crown, the horns of the various vajras are white in the east, green in the north, red in the west, yellow in the south, and blue in the center, the interior empty, within which the triangular source of dharma is reddish-white, and in the center, the five-peaked vajra is reddish-white, lying down, and at its center, focus single-pointedly on the reddish-white Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉字字面意思:吽). From that (Hūṃ) light radiates, dissolving into the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉字字面意思:吽) of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. From the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉字字面意思:吽) arises an inconceivable mass of reddish-white light. Passing from the crown of the head through the interior of the body, it descends to the reddish-white bindu in the jewel's hole at the tip of the vajra, and focus the mind intensely on this. Meditate in this way repeatedly. Lengthen the time of focusing on the jewel bindu. Regarding this, some old instructions do not mention the jewel bindu, because they relied on oral instructions. Later, some thought it was not necessary, which is very wrong. Some focus only on the jewel bindu.
