It is to create the beauty of words by combining harmoniously. Here it is said: The secret of all the kings of tantras is those five. The only path traveled by all Vajra holders. Extremely difficult to understand, the words of the Vajra, the speech of the noble ones. This profound and vast treatise has been explained very clearly. Whatever virtue is obtained from this, may it cause all beings who wander in the three realms to attain the state of eightfold power in a supremely blissful and swift manner. Thus, the extensive explanation of the treatise called "The Glorious Five Stages," "The Intention of the Great Vajradhara," this was urged repeatedly from the past by the throne holder of the Dharma King Shakya Chokden, Geshe Shakya Tenzin, and also urged by many Geshes in the meantime, and recently the Dharma Lord Yeshe Gyatso's presence also urged earnestly as a cause, and I myself am particularly fond of the king of tantras, the Guhyasamaja, and the profound scriptures of the commentary, and after making some effort in hearing, thinking, and meditating, in order to show it to others, and relying on this treatise, I have understood many profound meanings, and in order to repay the kindness of this treatise, I have written this commentary that is clear and gathers all the essential points. Gyaltsenpa Tāranātha wrote this at the age of forty-six in Shambhala in the midst of the snow mountains. Emaho! Relying on this Dharma cycle, all the translated Indian commentaries, and all the old schools of Tibet, such as Naktsang, Gö, Marpa, Chaglo, etc., the Buton school, the Gelug school, the Jonang school, and also many new explanations of later scholars such as Rongton, Tsetangpa Zhonnu Pal, etc., have been seen. Also, almost all the instructions of China and Tibet have been heard. Since the tantra must be understood by relying on the certainty of other tantras, relying on seeing and hearing many profound meanings of other tantras, many key points of this tantra have also been understood. To know the profound meaning of secret mantra exhaustively, it is impossible not to know this treatise, and in order to understand the completion stage of the yogini tantras, it is also very helpful to know this treatise. This commentary not only explains this treatise, but also explains the important meaning of the Compendium of Practices, the Lamp, and the ultimate end of activities.

Because one can thoroughly understand even the minor treatises such as differentiation and self-blessing, I think that explaining the completion stage of this system is all-encompassing and unique. It is also the supreme key to opening the gate of the great treasury of definitive meaning, the king of tantras. In particular, this treatise has the Black Wrathful One's Samaya Vajra, Diligent Goodness, Kashmiri's Kṣiṃ (藏文:ཀྵིཾ,梵文天城体:kṣiṃ,梵文罗马拟音:kṣiṃ,汉语字面意思:克希姆), Abhayākara (梵文天城体:Abhayākara,梵文罗马拟音:Abhayākara,汉语字面意思:无畏生), and Thupa Palsangpo, Kaldan Drakpa's short commentary, and the great commentary Necklace of Jewels aimed at Klu Jang, etc., many of which are known as Indian commentaries. However, it seems rare to thoroughly understand the meaning of the tantra. Many old Tibetan documents also seem similar to these. In Tibet, later, there were many instructions on the five stages and explanations that concluded the general meaning, but no one clearly explained the meaning of this treatise. Therefore, it would be very beneficial if someone who upholds the tradition of this system could appear in this later age. The first stage of this treatise seems to be only a collection of tantric quotations, both mentioned and unmentioned. Furthermore, the mirror image of the third stage, etc., are the words of Vajra Dakini. The fourth stage's prayer of clear light, and "arising not in the central channel" or "arising in the central channel," etc., and the fifth stage's union of samsara and nirvana, etc., these verses come from the Three Sections Explained Tantra Vajra Garland. In essence, it seems like a condensed version of the Vajra words. Many seemingly straightforward and easy-to-understand explicit statements, if one delves into their meaning, are very profound and difficult to understand. Therefore, realizing that one cannot see the meaning with just a literal understanding, I have explained the core meaning in various ways. Of all the treatises composed by the master Arya Nagarjuna, this treatise is the best, most excellent, and supreme. Of all the treatises composed by Arya Deva, the most ultimate is the Compendium of Practices. Nagarjuna's Three Collections of Treatises and Arya Deva's Four Hundred Verses, etc., are purely Sutra systems. Therefore, these treatises differ from this treatise not only in terms of the height of the vehicle but also in terms of the way they show the stages of the path. In these treatises
