It is said that this shows the union that is free from distinctions. In the context of union, when there is a special need, although there is a specific wisdom of great bliss that can be referred to as sleep, it is not sleep in itself. Its dream is also similar to this, so here the term sleep and wakefulness are used interchangeably. Fifteenth, Equal and Subsequent Union: In whatever union, how the distinctions of being in equipoise and not being in equipoise are, everything does not exist in everything, that is, the post-meditation period is also always in equipoise in samadhi, and in the state of equipoise, all phenomena are known, for the sake of enjoying joy and benefiting sentient beings. The Vajramala Tantra says: With the samadhi like an illusion, one plays in all the lords of objects, while doing the deeds of the Buddha, one abides on the basis of determination. Sixteenth, Union of Real and Unreal: The five objects, five faculties, etc., are material dharmas, and mind, mental factors, etc., are consciousness, so these real things have never been established. And the unreal things such as space and general meaning are even more non-existent than that. The yogi who has abandoned the appearances and discriminations of real and unreal things abides in union. Seventeenth, Union of Memory and Non-Memory: Free from "I remember this dharma, I have not forgotten it" and "This is not memory, I have forgotten it," without having to strive to remember, it has the characteristic of constantly being unscattered and arising wisdom. The yogi of union, for all the deeds of self and other benefit, even without effort, will not be confused or mixed up, and will not miss the opportunity when needed, acting as he pleases. This is a sign of abiding in the stages of union. Equal and subsequent union and effortless action are actually from the eighth ground onwards, but from the moment of obtaining union, there is a similarity. Eighteenth, Union of Bliss and Emptiness: Having abandoned the movement of the mind, because it is free from all elaborations, it is emptiness that is free from attachment. The three doors merge into one, transforming into the nature of great bliss, and pervaded by the joy of desirable qualities, therefore it is great attachment without afflictions.

For the sake of oneself, liberation from non-attachment, that is, abiding in union. Nineteenth, the union of things and permanence, the supreme or extreme joy, the body accomplished by co-emergent bliss, that is, the face, hands, main deity, retinue, ornaments, offerings, immeasurable palace, etc., is in accordance with things for the sake of experiencing bliss and manifesting form. Therefore, if one thinks it is impermanent, it is not so. Because as long as samsara exists, it exists forever, it is a fearless permanence, this is the characteristic of truly meditating on union, it is the union to be meditated on. Twentieth, the union of action and non-action, in general, all three of action, non-action, and karma are abandoned, that is so. In particular, action is the result, the actor is the path, those who practice abide in the nature of non-differentiation, that which is known by the yogi is said to be union. Also, if the so-called path, if the mind abides in the state of the result, the mind is merely a manifestation of conventionality, therefore, because it is non-different from the result, it is called union. Twenty-first, the union of generation and completion, the previous generation stage, that is, the meditation of samadhi with signs, is one stage. Afterwards, similarly, the completion stage, that is, the meditation of samadhi without signs, is the second stage. Afterwards, in this stage, the wisdom of union, where the two stages become one, that is said to be union. In general, the result of the generation stage is the completion stage, therefore, the wisdom of the completion stage has the taste and splendor of the generation stage, the wisdom of the completion stage possesses all the characteristics, it becomes the union of generation and completion. For example, this Ganges River flowing eastward, although it is not said to be the Yamuna River, because all the Yamuna River merges into it, the Ganges River is established as the union of the Yamuna River. At this time, the yogi who abides in the stage of union, from the generation stage spoken of in the supreme tantras, not only that, all the mandalas, mantras, mudras, and rituals, etc., spoken of in the immeasurable tantras by the Buddhas of the ten directions, immeasurable and boundless, who have gone to the three times, all can be enjoyed by the yogi.
