Thus it is. Moreover, the main practice of mind-focus is Vajra recitation. Therefore, Vajra recitation is counted as the root of the path. Mind-focus is included within it. Dividing the Completion Stage into four stages and the Generation Stage into one stage, making a total of five stages, is consistent with the quoted text from the later Kalachakra Tantra, as well as what is taught by Fearless Source, Shakyamuni Shri, and others. Although all of these do not deny the stage of body isolation, they consider it to precede the stage of Vajra recitation and to be the result of the subtle Generation Stage. Some individuals can accomplish it incidentally, and some can accomplish Vajra recitation and so on even without practicing it separately. Therefore, considering it not indispensable, the stages are not explained separately. Considering the majority of gradual entries, as it appears in the extensive explanation of the Compendium of Practices, there are the stages of body isolation, speech isolation, mind isolation, illusory body, clear light, and union. Therefore, it is necessary to act as if the Completion Stage itself is divided into six stages. Among these, the first three isolations are the Completion Stage of the cause, and the latter three are the Completion Stage of the result. For the Completion Stage of the cause, through the difference of distinguishing and summarizing, it can be summarized into one, it can be divided into two within it, and it can be divided into three from it. Therefore, the meaning ultimately converges on one. In the order of the treatises of Nagarjuna and Asanga, Vajra recitation is also said to be the first stage and mind isolation is the second stage. Therefore, the method of summarizing into five stages is the same as explaining the five natures. Thus, these terms of six-limbed yoga and five stages are clearly stated in many tantras. Therefore, it should be known that scholars and ordinary accomplished ones of both Tibet and China are like newly coined terms and the difference between large and small sources is like the difference between a mountain and a mustard seed. Because it is necessary to rely on meaning, it is most important that the meaning is not mistaken. However, in terms of nomenclature, the terms that appear from the songs of the Victorious One should also be spoken by subsequent followers. Because it benefits the teachings of the Victorious One, and the blessings of the words also enter, there is no point in attachment and aversion arising from mere sectarian bias.

It should be known. This is an instruction to those who wish to possess wisdom. Thus, in accordance with those tantras, the noble teacher Nāgārjuna composed this treatise on the completion stage, and for the generation stage, he composed both the Condensed Sādhana and the Condensed Collection. His heart-son, who became like a regent, the teacher Āryadeva, also composed a treatise called the Compendium of Practices Lamp, which has the characteristics of being clear, extensive, unconfused, and not dependent on other supplements. This treatise is indispensable for explaining the five stages. In addition, this teacher also composed a small treatise specifically on the self-blessing of the illusory body. Nāgabodhi, the direct disciple of the noble one, composed the Twenty Mandala Rituals, the Stages of Differentiation of the Generation Stage, and the Differentiation of the Limits of Activities of the Completion Stage. However, regarding the mandala ritual, many old Indian noble practitioners believe that he did not compose it. But all later scholars of India, such as Abhaya, consider it to be the work of Nāgabodhi, which seems reasonable. Regarding the Stages of Differentiation, although some early and later Indian scholars, such as Abhaya, believe that he did not compose it, some old Indians and all Tibetans believe that he did, which seems more reasonable. The root texts of the Guhyasamāja noble tradition are these, and in these texts, there is not the slightest imperfection or unreasonableness, all of them possessing great essential points. The commentary on the tantra, Lamp Illuminating, composed by glorious Chandrakīrti, seems to be regarded by all Tibetan and Indian noble practitioners as being no different from the noble father and sons, and although it is mostly of the nature of well-spoken words, there are occasionally some unreasonable points. However, for the Guhyasamāja noble tradition, since it is necessary to rely solely on this commentary on the tantra, it must be regarded as authoritative. Thus, the root texts and commentaries of the noble tradition are these. Among them, these teachings of the Guhyasamāja noble tradition were not widely propagated among common and uncommon disciples when the noble father and sons were actually dwelling in Jambudvīpa, because at that time, the sutra system was mainly taught very clearly, and the practice of secret mantra was also
