Wisdom is, because the reality of things is only the realm of wisdom, so conceptualization cannot touch reality. The meditation experience is, even if one cultivates emptiness for a lifetime with the effort of conceptualization, one will not even see a sign like smoke, let alone the experience of bliss and emptiness arising naturally even once. Because cultivating non-conceptualization with uncommon key points, those arise immediately, established by experience. Moreover, when the mind enters into Samadhi, not only will the conceptual cultivation of emptiness naturally stop, but even if one intentionally remembers it, it will naturally regress from the state of not reaching awareness, established by experience. Determining the need for non-conceptualization through the gateway of possessing three kinds of faith is also explained by the previous ones. Up to this point, the introduction to the view has been explained. The seventh part of the introduction. Second, regarding the introduction to meditation, among the four points, the first is to introduce the cause of Samadhi, which is the common cause of tranquility such as discipline, and the preliminaries from refuge to the three solitudes, and the action and binding of the main practice, and the special key points of the object of focus. Those meanings should be explained clearly and completely. The second is to introduce the way Samadhi arises, which is the five kinds such as obtaining movement. The third is to introduce the signs of Samadhi, which are the differences between the signs of the day, the signs of the night, and the ten signs, etc. Those two should be understood in the words of signs and measurements. Furthermore, in the Sutra of Brahma's Special Mind Asking, it says: "How and how one sees conditioned phenomena as false, so and so one becomes compassionate." It means generating compassion without near or far, and the eight worldly concerns become equal. In the Tenth Ground Sutra, it says: "The cessation of life and death and disapproval of evil destinies, in the cycle of existence he has no appearance of fear." It means that it is in accordance with the saying of obtaining the holy land and being free from the five fears, and for the first practitioner who is an ordinary person, if pure meditation arises, the worry about food and clothing will be reduced compared to before. One will not be afraid of death. One will not be disgusted by others accumulating sins, and one will not generate hatred. Hope and worry and mental suffering and discomfort will become smaller. Ultimate meaning.

From mastering the Dharma, one develops good confidence in speaking about the Dharma. If one possesses compassion, it is a sign of gaining some certainty in realization. Fourth is introducing the nature of Samatha-Vipassana: To suit the minds of different individuals, the classifications of Samatha-Vipassana are explained in detail or briefly in a comprehensive manner. Here, the state of non-conceptualization dwelling in the three doors of liberation is Samatha. The state of non-conceptualization dwelling on emptiness-form (emptiness manifesting as form) corresponds to what is said in the Sutras as Vipassana with signs. Knowing that emptiness-form is one's own mind and free from elaboration is called Vipassana of universal seeking. Dwelling in the state of emptiness-form and one's own mind being inseparable, the union of appearance and emptiness, is what is said to be discriminating Vipassana. When the practice of these is perfected and one naturally dwells effortlessly, as the Sutras say, "Samatha and Vipassana focusing on limitless mixed Dharmas." Its nature is the union of Samatha and Vipassana. The "signs" in "Vipassana with signs" here do not refer to elaboration and conceptual thoughts, but to the signs of experience that arise during practice. Similarly, universal seeking and discrimination, etc., do not refer to speculative conceptual thoughts, but to the meaning of looking at one's own nature with non-conceptual wisdom. Detailed content should be sought from the Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra. The eighth introduction section ends. Third is introducing conduct: All the conduct of the three vehicles should be practiced without error as taught by the Buddha. The three vows must be integrated harmoniously on one seat for practice. Fourth is introducing the result: As the Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra says, "Dwelling in mind-only, one does not discriminate external objects. Dwelling on the correct object, one is liberated from mind-only. After being liberated from mind-only, one is liberated from the absence of appearance. When a yogi dwells in the absence of appearance, he does not see the Great Vehicle." It also says, "Mind-only and the absence of appearance, and other Buddha-lands, these are what the Buddhas have declared and will continue to declare." And, the recognition of them is: "The seven grounds are mind, the eighth is the absence of appearance. Other grounds and Buddha-lands, these are its own
