(Oṃ vajra sara jāla tri sa)

The hands are in the gesture of holding a curved knife and embracing a skull, the second left hand holds a khatvanga (khaṭvāṃga, celestial staff). The third holds a shags (zhags, rope). The second right hand holds the head of Brahma (Tshangs pa). The third holds an iron hook. In this way, all the deities should be visualized clearly as if reflected in a mirror. Then, visualize oneself as having four faces and twelve arms, in order to protect against external obstacles. The left hand shakes a hand bell with the middle finger, and recites the mantra from the mouth: 'Oṃ sumbha ni hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ', the syllables of the mantra are as large as Mount Sumeru, the color is bright red, and the light radiates intensely. The goddess Khva gdong ma, who arises from that light, appears wherever she looks. Similarly, 'Oṃ ghṛhṇa ghṛhṇa hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ' and the owl-faced goddess are in the north. 'Oṃ ghṛhṇa pāya ghṛhṇa pāya hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ' and the dog-faced goddess are in the west. 'Oṃ anaya ho bhagavan vajra hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ' and the pig-faced goddess are in the south. Furthermore, Subhāni and the corpse-eating mother are in the northeast, Ghṛhṇa and the messenger mother are in the southwest, Ghṛhṇapā and the fanged mother are in the northwest, and Anāya and the destroying mother are in the northeast. All these goddesses are dark red in color, with one face, four arms, and three eyes, bared fangs, and hair that is reddish-black and blazing upwards. The first left hand holds a body similar to itself, and from the navel downwards are three stakes, a phurba (ritual dagger) as large as Mount Sumeru, blazing with fire. The second holds a khatvanga (khaṭvāṃga, celestial staff). The first right hand holds a vajra hammer, and the second holds a curved knife. The feet and head touch the golden ground and the world of Brahma, extremely large, they are fierce wrathful mothers, radiating light, wearing tiger skin skirts, each residing in their respective eight directions. Looking outwards, gazing at samsara, thinking that their unbearable light will carry the obstacles to other worlds. Then, visualize the great mantra enclosure as being completely formed, from which arises a square vajra enclosure, red and black in color, the size of a thousand worlds, or in accordance with the practitioner's mind. Recite: 'Oṃ vajra prakara hūṃ vaṃ hūṃ', to make it firm. Similarly, intense light radiates from the enclosure, visualize below it a ground of various vajras, recite: 'Oṃ midhini vajra bhava vajra bandha hūṃ hūṃ'. From there arises a square tent with a pointed top, recite: 'Oṃ vajra pañjara hūṃ vaṃ hūṃ'. Below that is a square awning, recite: 'Oṃ bhitana hūṃ khaṃ hūṃ'. From all of these, visualize a square net of arrows, covering all directions above and below, recite: 'Oṃ vajra sara jāla tri sa' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Visualize red and black flames blazing forth from it, illuminating all directions above and below. Firmly bless with ‘Om Vajra Jala Anala Argha Hum Hum Hum’. Then, visualize in front of these goddesses a chasm of forty thousand yojanas, exceedingly dark, with a gaping mouth. Next, visualize these goddesses, with rays of light like iron hooks, summoning all obstructing forces and placing them into the chasm. With a wrathful demeanor, command the goddesses: ‘Om Ghagha Ghataya Sarva Dushtan Hum Hum Phat. Kilaya Kilaya Sarva Papam Hum Hum Phat. Hum Hum Hum Vajra Kilaya Vajra Dharod Ajnya Payita Sarva Bhiga Nam Kaya Vaka Zita Vajra Kilaya Hum Hum Phat’. The goddesses insert the phurba (Tibetan: ཕུར་བ, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: phur ba, Chinese literal meaning: peg) into the crown of the heads of the obstructing forces, reciting: ‘Om Vajra Mudgara Vajra Kilaya Akotaya Hum Hum Phat’. The hammers in the right hands strike, causing the obstructing forces to be free from malice and experience uncontaminated bliss. Visualize the phurbas transforming into a host of guardian deities, abiding in that very place. The goddesses transform into a collection of blazing light, dissolving into the fire mountain, endowed with the power of the three kayas and five wisdoms. Then, visualize in your heart, on the lunar disc above the A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A), the blue Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) radiating five wisdom lights. From the rays of light emanating from it, transform the mandala of the sixty-two peaceful deities into the form of houses, walls, and cemeteries, with the lama residing at the top. Then, transform your body into as many particles as there are in a field, prostrate and pay homage to all of them. For the benefit of all sentient beings, I offer these bodies. Then, visualize from the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) in your heart, a blue lute player, with one face and four arms, the first two hands raising the lute, the lower two hands ringing the vajra bell, adorned with silk celestial garments and precious jewels, beautiful and pleasing, filling the boundless expanse of the sky. Recite ‘Om Ah Vajra Vini Hum’, and make offerings. Similarly, there is a yellow flute player, the first two hands placing the bamboo flute to her mouth and blowing, reciting ‘Om Ah Vajra Bangse Hum’. A red dramyin player, hanging the dramyin on her shoulders and striking it, reciting ‘Om Ah Vajra Murnaje Hum’. A green big drum player, placing the big drum on a throne and striking it, reciting ‘Om Ah Vajra Mukunde Hum’. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
