Please grant. I, named [so and so], request the vase empowerment. Please make me fully ripened. Please make my body ripened through the outer vase empowerment.' Prayed in this way three times. Imagine that the master and the deities of the mandala are not different, and that the vase water is used for empowerment. 'Auspicious vase, a palace of the gods. A place where the deities of great compassion reside. The water of the non-dual Bodhicitta. Empowering the fortunate son of the lineage. May the obscurations of body, speech, and mind be purified. May you quickly ripen into the body of great compassion.' Oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ oṃ āḥ hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ་ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ मणि पद्मे हूँ ओँ आः हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ oṃ āḥ hūṃ, Six-syllable mantra and seed syllables) body, abhiṣiñca, hūṃ. (Tibetan: ཀཱ་ཡ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: काय अभिषिञ्च हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: kāya abhiṣiñca hūṃ, body, abhiṣiñca, hūṃ) By empowering in this way, the stream of vase water fills the entire body. Purify the five afflictions. Transform the five aggregates. Manifest the realization of the five wisdoms. Imagine that the excess water dripping from the crown of the head is crowned by the five victorious ones. Recite: 'Oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ oṃ ratna mukuṭa abhiṣiñca hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ་ཨོཾ་རཏྣ་མུ་ཀུ་ཊ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ मणि पद्मे हूँ ओँ रत्न मुकुट अभिषिञ्च हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ oṃ ratna mukuṭa abhiṣiñca hūṃ, Six-syllable mantra, jewel, crown, abhiṣiñca, hūṃ)' and bind the crown. Thus, by bestowing the vase empowerment, the impurities of the body are purified. One is empowered to meditate on the deity. One is made fortunate to attain the Nirmāṇakāya. Again, offer the maṇḍala. The master is the embodiment of all Buddhas. May all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas consider me. I, named [so and so], request the secret empowerment. Please make my speech ripen through the secret empowerment.' Pray in this way with folded hands. Take the nectar pill from the mirror. 'White and red Bodhicitta, method and wisdom. Supreme essence, the supreme taste of nectar, generating bliss. The non-duality of father and mother, equal entry. The essence of Bodhicitta, the nectar melts. Empowering the fortunate son of the lineage. May the tongue taste the supreme taste of nectar. May body, speech, and mind generate bliss.' Six Syllables and Mahābodhicitta Mahāsukha Abhiṣiñca Āḥ. Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Six Syllables, Great Bodhicitta, Great Bliss, Abhiṣiñca, Āḥ) By this, ingest the nectar pill and the essence from the skull cup. By tasting the nectar in this way, the entire body is filled with nectar. The conceptual thoughts of the three poisons cease. The wisdom of bliss arises. By bestowing the secret empowerment, the impurities of speech are purified. One is empowered to recite mantras. Generate the realization that one will attain the Sambhogakāya. Again, offer the maṇḍala. The master is the embodiment of all Buddhas. May all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas consider me. I, named [so and so], request the wisdom empowerment. Please make my mind ripen through the wisdom empowerment.' Pray in this way. Imagine that from the vermillion letters, the master... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
