(Khorlosgyur): Khorlosgyur 56-8-3a When Padma Odsal Do-ngak Lingpa or Odsal Tulpa'i Dorje—the holder of the Seven Inherited Teachings, reached the age of twenty-four, on the eighth day of the waxing moon of the Sagittarius month in the Water Rabbit year, in the heart of the U-yuk valley, near Ramdingma Gonpa, the ordinary appearances dissolved into the luminous display of the Dharmadhatu. Just as the assembly of disciples appeared when Guru Rinpoche departed into a body of light, it clearly arose, and the instructions of the oral teachings were awakened in his mind. He established it with the great miracle of remembering the secret places, and sealed it with utmost secrecy. Later, when he reached the age of thirty-eight, in the Fire Snake year, urged by the guardian Ekajati to open the secret door, he first bestowed the complete empowerment of maturation and liberation upon me. Gradually, in order to allow those with fortune to breathe in the original place of liberation, he combined the profound teachings—the breath of the Dakinis, the stages of Vimala's Zabtig of Longchenpa, with empowerment rituals, and had them offer mandalas. With palms together, holding flowers, with great reverence, pray and repeat the following. Recite 'Kye Kye Lama' etc., three times according to the empowerment ritual, and in response, the master replies: 'Ema, sons of the lineage' etc., and then asks: 'Will you practice?' Answer with devotion and repeat the following: 'Ema, Lama Rinpoche'. 56-8-3b As a witness that you will never deviate from the vows you have taken, visualize the nectar of the samaya dissolving into the center of your heart. Offer the samaya water: Vajra Samaya Amrita Tha Tha Tha To make the samaya even more firm, repeat the following Vajra dance: Vajra Samaya Narakan (藏文:བཛྲ་ས་མ་ཡ་ན་ར་ཀན,梵文天城体:वज्र समय नरकन्,梵文罗马拟音:vajra samaya narakan,汉语字面意思:金刚誓言地狱), and place the vajra on your head. Then, first of all, have the following understanding of the view of the Great Perfection Heart Essence, the stages of the Seven Preliminary Mind Trainings: Ema, sons of the lineage. Thus, all compounded things are (di ltar 'dus byas thams cad ni) etc., remain calm for a while (dar cig mnyam par 'jog mdzod), rest in stillness for a moment. Thus, the stages of the preliminary mind training are completed. In order to purify the continuum, do not cling to the fabricated concepts of dualistic grasping, but based on the understanding of the original, primordial state, the spontaneously arising Great Perfection, first is refuge. The essence of all dharmas is the primordially pure (kadag) Dharmakaya (chos sku), the spontaneously perfect radiance of awareness is the Sambhogakaya (long sku). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That which is inseparable manifests as various Nirmanakayas. Those three bodies cannot be found elsewhere; they are the nature of one's own mind—emptiness in essence, clarity in nature, and the embodiment of the inseparable three Kayas. Knowing the meaning of taking refuge in the state of recognizing the self-nature of awareness as emptiness, repeat after me: ཨ༔ (Tibetan) ཀ་དག་གཏིང་གསལ་ (Sanskrit Devanagari) kadag ting sal (Sanskrit Romanization) Primordial purity, profound clarity (Literal Chinese meaning), etc., three times as in the 'Definitive Meaning' text. Furthermore, all sentient beings who are under the influence of sudden delusion have never moved from the state of pure Dharmadhatu from the very beginning. Therefore, recognize the reality that awareness is clear as the light of wisdom, cultivate the great equipoise, and generate Bodhicitta. Repeat after me: ཧོ༔ (Tibetan) གློ་བུར་འཁྲུལ་པའི་ (Sanskrit Devanagari) glö bur thrul pa'i (Sanskrit Romanization) Sudden delusion (Literal Chinese meaning), etc., three times. Effortlessly accumulate the vast collection of perfect wisdom, and purify sudden delusions, obscurations, and habitual tendencies into the nature of non-inherent Dharmadhatu. Remembering the meaning of increasing merit with pure virtuous actions in the treasury of self-luminous light, repeat after me this seven-branch prayer: (Sanskrit Devanagari) snang bzhi mthar phyin (Sanskrit Romanization) Completion of the four visions (Literal Chinese meaning), etc. Thereafter, with reverence and devotion, focusing single-mindedly on the meaning of the words, clearly understanding their significance, please recite this inexpressible confession of true meaning: ཨོཾ། (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal Chinese meaning) OM. Please recite completely 'Supreme Body of Wisdom,' etc. Please perform this profound visualization and recitation for purifying obscurations. In the center of your body, visualize the three channels and four chakras, their nature being clear light. In the central channel, four fingers below the navel, visualize the Guru Bhagavan Glorious Vajrasattva, red in color, possessing the complete adornments of the Sambhogakaya, holding a vajra and bell, embracing his consort born from his own light, seated on a lotus and moon cushion. With great reverence, supplicate him, and by reciting, inspire his mind-stream. From his body, flames of wisdom ignite, pervading all places of the four chakras, burning away all obscurations of the three doors and equality, purifying them without remainder. And with firm faith that your own body also transforms into the nature of light, inseparable from the three secrets of Glorious Vajrasattva, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra. Recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra seven or twenty-one times. To accumulate merit, please cultivate the following visualization: The flames of wisdom arising from the body of Vajrasattva touch the syllable ཧཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal Chinese meaning) at the crown chakra, from which descends a stream of nectar, the nature of which is the collection of all Buddhas, pervading all places of the four chakras, causing all the deities of the mandala of the Guru's four bodies to be extremely delighted with the wisdom of the four joys, perfecting the accumulation of the fruit of great bliss. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
