Visualize that you and your consort (Tibetan: ཡབ་ཡུམ, literal meaning: parents) are Hayagriva and Vajravarahi in union (Tibetan: རྟ་ཕག་ཡབ་ཡུམ), appearing clearly in the empty, secret vajra lotus (Tibetan: མཁའ་གསང་རྡོ་རྗེ་པདྨོར་གསལ་བས). Relying on this skillful means, abide with the intention to attain the state of co-emergent (Tibetan: ཟུང་འཇུག་) great bliss, giving rise to the ultimate wisdom of the four joys (Tibetan: དགའ་བ་བཞི). Through this, your mind obtains the empowerment of sublime wisdom, the deluded perceptions of the eight consciousness aggregates (Tibetan: རྣམ་ཤེས་ཚོགས་བརྒྱད) are purified, you will have the authority to practice the yoga of bliss and emptiness in union (Tibetan: བདེ་སྟོང་ཐབས་གྲོལ), and you will have the opportunity to attain the state of Dharmakaya Vajra. The fourth is the empowerment of the word (Tibetan: ཚིག་གི་དབང་བསྐུར་བ་ལ). Join your palms at your crown, face east, and visualize going to the end of the eastern sky, then visualize returning to your original place, pausing slightly between the two. The sky is boundless, the mind has no substance, although you think of going, there is nowhere to go and no one to go; although you think of returning, there is nowhere to return and no one to return. Recognize that everything is the self-display of the non-conceptual Dharmakaya (Tibetan: ཆོས་སྐུ). Again, turn to the south and other directions, and in the same way, recognize the west and north. Through this, the three doors (Tibetan: སྒོ་གསུམ) obtain the fourth precious empowerment of the word, the defilements of the co-emergent Alaya (Tibetan: ཀུན་གཞི) are purified, you will have the authority to practice the Great Perfection of awareness and emptiness (Tibetan: རིག་སྟོང་འོད་གསལ), and you will have the opportunity to attain the state of Wisdom Vajra. The final part of the four empowerments is the granting of the Vajra Acharya (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་སློབ་དཔོན་) empowerment, visualize yourselves as the lords of all families, the primordial protector (Tibetan: གདོད་མའི་མགོན་པོ) Samantabhadra (Tibetan: ཀུན་བཟང་) in union.
