All disciples, be sure to uphold the supreme samaya! Thinking of the meaning of such teachings, strive to protect it as much as possible, reciting: 'How the Lord...' etc. Offer the mandala, offer the body. Having matured the continuum through the sequence of empowerments in this way, the profound instructions on how to bestow the liberating four empowerments individually and in connection with them will be imparted, so please listen with one-pointed mind and ears. The practitioner, I, should remain one-pointedly in yoga, with the clear appearance of the deity and whatever recitation is appropriate as a preliminary, in my own eyes, the red syllable ཨཱཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable) The light of great bliss blazing supremely, pervading all appearances of objects. All of that dissolves into the essence of red great bliss, dissolving into the ཨཱཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable) in the eye. The object and awareness become empowered in a way that is inseparable. Similarly, at the root of the ear, the red syllable ཤཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: शं, Sanskrit Romanization: shaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: peace) with the light of great bliss pervades all appearances of sounds. Dissolving into light, it dissolves into ཤཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: शं, Sanskrit Romanization: shaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: peace). At the root of the nose, the red syllable གཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: गं, Sanskrit Romanization: gaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: go) with the light of great bliss pervades all appearances of smells. Dissolving into light, it dissolves into གཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: गं, Sanskrit Romanization: gaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: go). At the root of the tongue, the red syllable རཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Chinese literal meaning: joy) with the light of great bliss pervades all appearances of tastes. Dissolving into light, it dissolves into རཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Chinese literal meaning: joy). At the space of the forehead, the red syllable སྤཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्पं, Sanskrit Romanization: spaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: touch) with the light of great bliss pervades all appearances of tactile sensations. Dissolving into light, it dissolves into སྤཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्पं, Sanskrit Romanization: spaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: touch). At the center of the heart, the red syllable དྷཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: धं, Sanskrit Romanization: dhaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: hold) with the light of great bliss pervades all that is grasped as phenomena. Dissolving into light, it dissolves into དྷཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: धं, Sanskrit Romanization: dhaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: hold). In such a way, think that all appearances of the six aggregates are empowered in a way that is inseparable from the object and the object-holder. Visual forms are empty, sounds are empty, smells are empty, tastes are empty, tactile sensations are empty, mental awareness is empty, knowing that, remain in equipoise in a state where the two truths are inseparable, like an illusion. In order to bring forth realization during this time, visualize oneself and all appearances as Padmadakini, empowering them in the way that the deity dissolves into the deity, stabilizing pride. This is the path of the vase empowerment, which empowers appearances. Gather the essential points of the body, expel the poisonous winds. Within the body of oneself as Padmadakini, at the navel, including the channels and wheels, the red syllable ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: great compassion) blazes, gather the wind and mind there and remain. Then, as the wind is expelled, from the ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: great compassion), the light of great bliss blazes and flickers like a flame, exiting from the nostril through the channel of Rorokyang. Pervading all realms of samsara and nirvana, stable and moving, it stirs with the essence of great bliss, shimmering and flickering. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
