I offer to the glorious and holy Lamas (Bla Ma, spiritual teachers) with all their lineages, and to Shakyamuni Buddha (Thubwang, the powerful one, referring to Shakyamuni Buddha) with the Sixteen Arhats and their retinues. May the Buddha's teachings flourish, may all sentient beings experience happiness and well-being, and especially, may the Jokhang Temple ( 'Phrul Snang, meaning manifestation of miracles) of Lhasa (Ra Sa, place name, Lhasa) be free from the harm of water, and may it remain stable in this place. Etc. Offer to the Lama (Bla Ma, spiritual teacher) Three Jewels and the Sixteen Arhats with their retinues. Then, remembering the blessings mentioned above, recite three times Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ (Tibetan, seed syllables, oṃ āḥ hūṃ, body, speech, and mind). Namaḥ sarva tathāgata avalokite oṃ sambhara sambhara hūṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, namaḥ sarva tathāgata avalokite oṃ sambhara sambhara hūṃ, Homage to all the Tathagatas, Avalokite, Oṃ, accumulate, accumulate, Hūṃ). This Torma (gtor ma, ritual cake) possessing the five desirable qualities, I offer it to the local deities, earth deities, land deities with their retinues residing in this place and region, and to all karmic creditors of the six realms. May you protect and guard these temples, and may you fulfill all the desires of each one! Thirteenth, engaging in activities and making aspirations: I beseech all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas residing in the ten directions, the noble Shravakas, the sixteen great Arhats, and all the victorious ones with their offspring to listen! We, countless beings, with pure intention, and with devotion and respect in body, speech, and mind, prostrate, pray, and offer to you. Through the power and strength of these roots of virtue, may the precious teachings of the Buddha spread impartially in all directions! May all sentient beings experience immeasurable benefit and happiness! May the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni, who has become the supreme ornament guiding all gods and humans, be the face of the Shakya clan! May this one be the glory, protector, and refuge of all beings, and may it remain stable in the Jokhang Temple of Lhasa, undisturbed by any harm until the end of Samsara! May it, having remained, become the object of prostration, offerings, and prayers for all beings, and may it be a sacred guide! Furthermore, may the extraordinary supports of the wheel of adornment, such as the self-arisen five deities and other indestructible body, speech, and mind representations, also be the glory, protector, and refuge of all beings, and may they remain in the Jokhang Temple of Lhasa, undisturbed by any harm until the end of Samsara! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
