Oṃ, Vajra, Ḍākinī, Hūṃ). Having respectfully bowed to the Three Roots, I will speak of the practical record of the insect protection instructions. Grant your blessings through the command of the Three Roots! Only after the accomplishment signs of the recitation and practice of any chosen deity have appeared, should this be done; it cannot be accomplished by others. Such as planting water and sand, etc., when the seed takes root and the sprout is complete, insects will come; if (the mantra) is recited three times, it is said that it will definitely be prevented. However, since there are few who can do such a thing, it is difficult for a mantra practitioner to stop the insects once they have appeared; it seems beneficial to make diligent effort in this. Although it is said to pour a lot of water on the edge of the field, it is also difficult because the field is large; therefore, one should pour as much water as one can, and especially make many Nāga offerings. And dedicate it to the protection of one's own field. The water for the offering should be mixed with mantra water. It is said that various good woods, red cow dung, and heavy incense should be burned at the edge of the field. These can be used as a small offering text, along with offerings, and let the field owners perform them separately, while you perform one large incense offering and give commands. Furthermore, offer white offerings to the Eight Classes, local deities, and earth lords, and give commands and entrust them. It is best to draw a Vajra symbol according to the text. Write 'From now on, to whatever person or property' in place of that, write the name of the place or field, or 'Do not allow insects to infest these fields of this owner'. To condense it, draw a picture like the letter from the Great Accomplishment Lineage, and read it three times during the incense offering, then plant each letter in the direction of the valley. A clean-headed boy or girl, with both parents alive and with complete senses, who has not eaten meat, alcohol, or garlic, should take sand from the bank of a large river in the early morning, without being crossed by humans or animals. Likewise, take sand from a flowing river, and add camphor, musk, and sandalwood powder. It would be good if you could mix the ashes of peaceful or wrathful fire offerings into the sand. Then, visualize yourself as any chosen deity, mainly whichever one you have accomplished through recitation, especially the Gongdü or peaceful or wrathful Guru. Clearly meditate on the deity's samadhi, abstain from meat, alcohol, garlic, and onions, and cut off speech. Tadyathā Staṃbhā Bhuja Bīṭe Dhabhuja Gogghānire Dhabhuja Meru Bhuja Garupā Bhuja Hūṃ Hūṃ Anipā Bhuja Smara Bhuja Smara Aparata Bhuja Nibha Bhuja Svāhā (藏文,梵文天城体:तद्यथा स्तंभा भुज बीटे धभुज गोग्घानिरे धभुज मेरु भुज गरुपा भुज हूँ हूँ अनिपा भुज स्मर भुज स्मर अपरत भुज निभ भुज स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:tadyathā staṃbhā bhuja bīṭe dhabhuja gogghānire dhabhuja meru bhuja garupā bhuja hūṃ hūṃ anipā bhuja smara bhuja smara aparata bhuja nibha bhuja svāhā,汉语字面意思:Thus, support, arm, drink, hold, cow's call, Nire, hold, Mount Meru, arm, bird, arm, Hūṃ, Hūṃ, innocent, arm, memory, arm, memory, other, hold, Nibha, arm, Svāhā). Recite it a million times, visualize all the sand as a pile of jewels, and then thoroughly stir it up and down. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All trees recite mantras. Even if reciting ten million times, due to the influence of time, it is necessary to recite forty thousand times. However, it is difficult for a single yogi to accomplish that much. Therefore, visualize oneself as countless deities, visualize them clearly, and recite mantras with all of them, obtaining transformation through mantra recitation. Before that, transform the harm of insects. Furthermore, for the profound mantra instructions of the activity practices of all deities, such as the Gongdü (Collection of Intentions): visualize Orgyen (Padmasambhava) or any deity. Although visualizing any deity is acceptable, Orgyen is most auspicious due to the influence of time. Khong Khong Nad La Khong, Chum Chum Nad La Chum, Gum Gum Chum Chum Shag Shag Svaha. It is excellent to bless sand with a thousand recitations. This mantra is short and profound. Furthermore, visualize oneself as the noble Avalokiteśvara, a white body wearing white silk garments. The right hand holds a crystal rosary, and the left hand holds a vase. With the light rays of the crystal rosary, drive away the insects that harm the crops. With the stream of nectar from the vase in the left hand, pacify the harm of insects that harm the crops. Make all the crops abundant. The fields become of vajra nature, and the harmful insects cannot penetrate. Around the fields or the borders of the fields, a vajra fence becomes a tent. Any harmful insects cannot penetrate. By radiating light from one's heart, countless Avalokiteśvaras, like oneself, descend like rain from Potala Mountain, dissolving into the crops and pacifying harm. Om Hrih Trailokya Vijaya Amogha Pasha Apratihata Hrih Ta Hum Phat Svaha (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཧྲཱིཿ ཏྲཻ་ལོཀྱ་བི་ཛ་ཡ། ཨ་མོ་གྷ་པཱ་ཤ་ཨ་པྲ་ཏི་ཧ་ཏ་ཧྲཱིཿཏ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ hrīḥ trailokya vi-jaya a-mogha pāśa a-prati-hata hrīḥ ta hūṃ phaṭ svāhā,汉语字面意思:Om Hrih Trailokya Vijaya Amogha Pasha Apratihata Hrih Ta Hum Phat Svaha) Raksha Raksha Man Loto La Tsag Pai Nod Pa Sung Du Sol Sung Du Sol Svaha. Recite this mantra and bless water and sand as much as possible. Also, maintain the visualization of protection in the morning and evening. In the space above the fields, visualize the Bodhisattva Kshitigarbha, with a white body, one face, and two arms. The right hand holds a willow branch, and the left hand holds a bell. Adorned with silk and jewels, seated in a half-lotus posture. On a lotus and moon seat, at the heart is the syllable Kshim (藏文:ཀྵིཾ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:kṣiṃ,汉语字面意思:Kshim) on a moon disc, surrounded by mantras. From there, radiate light and invite the wisdom beings from the Pure Land of Sukhavati and the sacred site of Wutai Mountain in China, merging into one. Seek refuge in the lord of the fields and the land. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
