Burn it! Om Sarva Papam Dahana Bhasmim Kuru Hum Svaha! (藏文：ཨོཾ་སརྦ་པཱ་པཾ་ད་ཧ་ན་བྷསྨིཾ་ཀུ་རུ་ཧཱུྃ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།，梵文天城体：ॐ सर्व पापं दहना भस्मिं कुरु हुं स्वाहा，梵文罗马拟音：Om Sarva Papam Dahana Bhasmim Kuru Hum Svaha，汉语字面意思：Om, all sins, burn, ashes, do, Hum, Svaha!) Burn sesame in the fire and throw the ashes into the water. Pour the fire into the water to extinguish it. Consecrate the clean sand or ashes with the mantra, and at the end of the root mantra add: 'May all the sins of the deceased be pacified, Kuru, Svaha!' Then sprinkle it in the flowing water. Show the image of the mandala on the mirror, bathe it with victorious water, and recite: 'This is a supreme and glorious bath, this is the supreme water of compassion, this is the water of blessed wisdom, may it grant all desired achievements. Om Sarva Tathagata Abhisheka Te Samaya Shriye Hum!' Wipe it with a clean cloth and recite: 'With this incomparable garment, wipe the body with clean and fragrant offerings. Om Hum Tram Hrih Ah Sarva Tathagata Kaya Vishodhana Ye Svaha!' Pick up two pieces of clothing and recite: 'Then offer the colorful, extremely fragrant, and sacred garments. Om Vajra Vastram Ah Hum!' Pour the bathing water into another bottle, wash the visualized deity image, and recite: 'This is the water of the nature of the six perfections, which purifies the six afflictions, and the water perfumed with the fragrance of the six perfections, may I bathe with a good bath.' Bathing with six rivers purifies the six habits, I prostrate to the good bather who has no faults. Bathing with six perfumes purifies the six stains, possessing vast six qualities, the good bather has no faults. In order to purify the six stains, in order to possess all the qualities, in order to offer to all the Buddhas, I bathe with devotion.' After reciting each verse, add at the end of the root mantra: 'May all the inconsistencies of the six perfections of the deceased be pacified, Kuru, Svaha!' Then wash it. 'Greed, hatred, and ignorance are the three poisons of the world, the Three Jewels have no poison, and the truth of the Three Jewels subdues the poison.' Root mantra and: 'May all the obscurations of the three poisons of the deceased be pacified, Kuru, Svaha!' 'The four elements are the father of poison, and the four elements are also the mother of poison, with these true words, may the poison of the deceased be without poison.' Root mantra and: 'May all the poisons of the deceased's four elements and those born from the four elements be pacified, Kuru, Svaha!' 'With the merit and power of the Buddhas, and the thoughts of all the gods, whatever your wishes are, may they be fulfilled today. May you be well! May you have a good journey! May those returning also be well! Good day and good night! May noon also be well! May it always be well day and night! May you be free from sin! Then, holding the recent name card, have him prostrate, (reciting:) Lord Victorious One, protector of beings! Diligent in the work of saving beings! Mighty one, dispelling all fears! Deceased one, I take refuge in you! The Dharma understood in your heart, which can dispel the fears of samsara, and also to the assembly of Bodhisattvas, likewise, deceased one, I take refuge! The deceased one, terrified by fear, offers the deceased to Kuntuzangpo! With myself, I offer this deceased body to Jampai Yang! To the compassionate Avalokiteshvara, whose actions are without error, I cry out with a distressed voice, begging to save this sinful one! And to the noble Akashagarbha (Namkha'i Nyingpo) and Kshitigarbha (Sa'i Nyingpo), and all embodiments of compassion, I seek refuge from the depths of my heart, uttering a plaintive cry! Whoever sees, the hateful messengers of Yama, etc., will scatter in terror in all directions, I take refuge in Vajrapani (Vajra). In the past, I transgressed your commands, but now seeing great fear, I take refuge in you, I pray that you quickly save me from fear! (Recite) the verse three times. Then empower as before. Having empowered in this way, the deceased becomes the essence of a deity. Arrange food and clothing, etc., and purify with incense. (Recite:) Om, from (seed syllable) Om (Oṃ, Devanagari: ओँ, IAST: Oṃ, meaning: perfection), may the desired objects fill the sky. (Recite:) Om Vajra Spharaṇa Kham. In all directions and times, all forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and textures, whatever excellent desired objects there are, I offer with devotion to the deceased deity, may you receive them and attain unsurpassed enlightenment! (Recite:) Vajrasattva saparivara rupa shabda gandhe rasa sparsha kama guna pujite ah hum. May the deceased enjoy the desired qualities, such as pleasing forms, beautiful sounds, fragrant smells, sweet tastes, smooth textures, etc., without attachment! In the evening, light a fire on the support, flourishing like Kunrig. When gathering, may the impurities of the deceased's continuum, aggregates, elements, and sources, be burned by the fire of the five bodies and five wisdoms, thereby purifying and cleansing. (Recite) Namo bhagavate, etc., the root mantra, burn the name card, and discard the ashes in a clean place.
