Is it so? Let the deceased enjoy this eternal food and resources, like enjoying the inexhaustible treasures of the sky. With this, may the perfection of generosity be complete, please joyfully partake of this food. The living will not diminish because of it, and the deceased will not be attached to it. May you go to the pure land of great bliss. Samsara is full of suffering, and even with effort, it is difficult to escape the bonds of karma, so do not linger in this samsara, recognize your own Dharma nature, in the Pure Land of Sukhavati, how vast and boundless is emptiness. The six realms of beings are full of suffering, while in the Pure Land adorned with lotuses, how magnificent is the light of Dharma nature, and how good are the Bodhisattvas and consorts as companions. Therefore, deceased one, please enjoy this food and depart in peace. May you enjoy all these pure and complete five desirable qualities and all these resources, as your eternal food and inexhaustible enjoyment, and the food dedicated to the roots of virtue, please enjoy it, do not be attached to samsara, contemplate the meaning of emptiness, without birth or death, and go to the pure land of great bliss. Transformed into the pure Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha, appearing vividly before you, residing in the center of radiant light. With the light from my heart, invite and merge Vajrasattva and other Buddhas, eliminating all sins, obscurations, and diseases. Invite and merge Manjushri and other Bodhisattvas, increasing merit, wisdom, and knowledge. Invite and merge Vajrayogini and other Dakinis, freely controlling wind and mind. Invite and merge Heruka and other wrathful deities, subduing the four maras and afflictions. The object of visualization, the impure aggregates, elements, and sense bases, are burned by the fire of the five bodies and five wisdoms, thereby purifying them. Recite the names of Orgyen (Padmasambhava) etc. and call out from afar, without form, without sound, without smell, without taste, without touch, without Dharma. Recite the above long mantra and burn. The consciousness of the deceased and the wisdom being are inseparable, residing on the moon mandala, lift it into the sky. Ho! From here to the west is the Sukhavati (Pure Land of Bliss), Avalokiteśvara (Chenrezig) and Amitābha (Buddha of Infinite Light) reside there, Together with the retinue of Bodhisattvas, Completely liberated from the suffering of existence. The qualities of that Pure Land are beyond description, Whoever holds its name, Generating faith and supreme reverence, Is said to be born in that supreme Pure Land. Therefore, you should generate great reverence! I am the Great Compassionate One (Mahakarunika), I am the one who guides you to the supreme path. On this path, and between that Pure Land, I will say: 'I am your parents!' I will say: 'I am your companions!' To those who cry out in loud lament, Do not give a response to their voices! Do not look back at them! Do not be attached to the nearby places! Do not let suffering fill your heart! Proceed to the Pure Land of Bliss! Hey! Bodhisattva named so-and-so who has passed away, listen! From here, definitely go to the western world called Sukhavati. There, the Bhagavan (Blessed One) Amitābha, surrounded by a multitude of Bodhisattvas and countless noble Sangha, constantly turns the Wheel of Dharma (Dharmacakra). Son of the lineage, you should go with the gait of a lion! Look with the gaze of an elephant! Merely by generating devotion and reverence for the three jewels, Amitabha and his retinue, from their body, speech, and mind, rays of compassion extend like an unfurled rainbow. The deceased seizes the light, pulls upward, and dissolves into the lotus heart in front, thereby obtaining a transformation body (nirmāṇakāya) by miraculous birth (upapāduka). Phat! Phat! Phat! The assembly of the thirty-five Buddhas (Buddha) Bhagavan, please listen to the deceased! From this life of the deceased, and from other lifetimes in beginningless and endless samsara (cycle of existence), the root of virtue from giving (dāna), even a mouthful of food to an animal, the root of virtue from upholding morality (śīla), the root of virtue from abiding in celibacy (brahmacarya), the root of virtue from maturing sentient beings, the root of virtue from generating the supreme bodhicitta (mind of enlightenment), and the root of virtue from unsurpassed wisdom (jñāna), --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
