These are the collected items. The following is the practice method, divided into three parts: preparation, main practice, and conclusion. First is the preparation: on the altar, place the self-generation mandala of the deity, offerings, and Tormas, as well as the Torma offerings for the planets. Nearby, place a copper basin filled with water, with a tripod in the middle, on which the Torma of the planets is placed. On the left and right sides, place red and white offerings. Around the central Torma, place eight small bowls of tsampa containing sandalwood and other items. Place eight statues with the heads of eight animals, such as tigers, on the edge of the copper basin. If you can perform the secret practice of Hayagriva, it is best; otherwise, you can perform other secret practices, such as the secret accomplishment method, Vajrapani Tummo, and subduing arrogance. In any case, perform the deity's ritual and the Torma ritual of the planets according to the circumstances, either extensively or concisely. Second is the main practice: have the recipient sit in front, wrap one end of the five-colored thread around the patient's little finger, wrapping it around the part where the disease is located. If it is not a patient, wrap the left hand for men and the right hand for women, and put the other end into the water of the copper basin. Then, bless the offerings with the six-syllable mantra and six mudras, and recite according to the ritual.
