Sālaya Sālaya Cakra! The wheel that suppresses and suppresses. (10) Nāśaya Nāśaya Cakra! The wheel that decays and decays. (11) Baṃ Baṃ Cakra! The wheel that moistens and moistens. (12) Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ Phaṭ Samanta Gīra Cakra! The wheel that universally averts. (13) Dīpta Cakra Hūṃ Phaṭ! The wheel of weapons. By merely reciting this mantra, even fierce demons cannot harm one, and all the sins of those on the verge of death will be liberated from it. Consecrate cinnabar and white guggul (a type of incense) with the mantra and burn it as incense. Consecrate white mustard seeds with the mantra and scatter them forward. Consecrate five-colored threads with the mantra one hundred and eight times and wear them around the neck. Consecrate butter with the mantra and apply it to the body. This mantra can avert all curses and evils. The ritual for this is: make a white stupa one cubit high. Inside the vase of the stupa, mix clay with powdered gemstones, create an image of the one to be protected, write their name on its heart, and place it inside. Above it, visualize a four-spoked wheel. Visualize the stupa appearing from the invisible, transforming into the Bhagavan Buddha Śākyamuni (Śākyamuni: Buddha) like pure gold, with his right hand holding a vajra (vajra: diamond scepter) in the earth-touching mudra (bhūmisparśa mudrā: earth-touching gesture), and his left hand in the meditation mudra, thinking of the one to be protected inside the alms bowl. Visualize the Buddha's body filling the entire realm of form, and from his heart, the syllable 'Hūṃ' (Hūṃ: seed syllable) emanates, transforming into a wrathful deity on the lotus in front, destroying all obstacles with a staff or commanding them to obey. The number of recitations should reach one million. The essential instruction for subduing demons—the practice called 'The Blazing Wheel'—is now complete. I, Orgyen Padmasambhava (Padmasambhava: Lotus-Born), for the benefit of King Gungtang (Gungtang: name of a king), wrote down this ultimate method for averting demons. May it meet with a fortunate individual! Samaya! Seal! Seal! Seal! From Yōngpolong in Rulajiang (place names), the Tertön (treasure revealer) Rigzhin Gökyi Demtruchen (Rigzhin Gökyi Demtruchen: name of a person) received it from Rikchöpa Tulku (Rikchöpa Tulku: name of a person) Sangpo Drakpa (Sangpo Drakpa: name of a person), who extracted it from the terma (hidden treasure). The following are the procedures for preparing, arranging, reciting, visualizing, and chanting the Blazing Wheel for Averting. Guru Padmasiddhi Hūṃ! The method for overcoming evil spirits through the Blazing Wheel for Averting is divided into two: relying on a stupa with form and relying on formless meditation. The first is further divided into two: preparation and arrangement, and the actual ritual. First, for those who can make clay images, blessings should be performed in advance, making a white Bodhi Stupa or Demon-Subduing Stupa one cubit high, with dimensions and characteristics that meet the standards. Inside the vase, mix clay with powdered gemstones, create an image of the one to be protected, write their name on its heart, and place it inside. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Place the paper with the name written on it into the vase. On the wheel to be placed on top, write the name and mantra to be protected in the center. On the ten spokes, write your own root mantra. If you want to be more detailed, write the vowels, consonants, and the essence of dependent origination (藏文:རྟེན་འབྲེལ་སྙིང་པོ།) on the outer circle. Surround the outermost circle with a vajra fence and a ring of fire, apply Dharma medicine, and place it on top of the stupa like an umbrella. Then, arrange extensive offerings such as the five sense objects, and perform a detailed or abbreviated consecration ceremony. Secondly, in the actual ritual, like the common terma ritual, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, the four immeasurables, and bodhicitta. First, perform the lineage supplication, starting from the Chinese land, and recite the supplication once. Then, recite the mantra as much as possible, clap your hands at the end of the session, and recite the dedication of merit and auspicious prayers at the end. The visualization at this time is: visualize the object of focus as non-existent, in emptiness, visualize a huge stupa that completely conforms to the description in the ritual, large enough to fill the sky and earth. In the center of the vase, visualize Shakyamuni Buddha (藏文:ཐུབ་དབང་), complete with all the marks and signs, in the earth-touching mudra, holding a begging bowl in his hand, in which the form and place of the object to be protected are clearly visible. From the heart of Shakyamuni Buddha, rays of light emanate, illuminating the wrathful deity (藏文:ཁྲོ་བོ།) on the lotus seat in front, who brandishes a black staff, subduing all demons and evil forces, and listening to commands. If you want to be more detailed, you can recite prayers such as 'Sentient beings pervading space', and perform welcoming, offering seats, abiding, bathing, the seven-branch offering, offerings, and praise. Even if you don't recite them, there will be no fault of omission, because it is not explicitly stated in the ritual. Take the wheel with the stupa drawn on it as the object of focus, and visualize a protective wheel consisting of ten hollow tubular structures, with eight directions, two above and below, the color can be red or yellow, and the fire rotates to the right, subduing all evil spirits and demons. Recite the mantra. If you want to be more detailed, you can circumambulate and prostrate to the stupa as much as possible at appropriate times. Place the vase, which has been recited 100,000 times, in a secluded place and use it when needed. If you need to heal a child, you can make pills from tsampa that have been recited with mantras and give them to the child, or light incense with cinnabar and white sandalwood that have been recited with mantras, or sprinkle white mustard seeds that have been recited with mantras on the child, or bathe the child with clean water that has been recited with mantras, or put a colored thread that has been recited with mantras around the child's neck, or apply butter that has been recited with mantras on the child's body. It is said that doing so can dispel curses and liberate from evil spirits, which are all recorded in the ritual. This was recorded by the monk Padma-phrin-las according to the ritual, without mixing anything else, at the request of the Vajra-holding monk Manjushrikirti. Guru Padmasiddhi. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
