Bearing the responsibility of protecting the teachings and the holders of the teachings! Becoming the supreme guardian of all who uphold the sacred Dharma! Leading the retinue, armies, and all attendants! Accepting the offerings that fill the sky like clouds of Samantabhadra's offerings! Enjoying the torma adorned with sacred substances! Protecting the teachings and safeguarding the world! Fulfilling the wishes of the Dharma speakers in accordance with the Dharma! The time has come to repel the cruel heretics! In the past, in the charnel ground of Vulture Peak Mountain! Before the incarnate Shakyamuni Buddha! Without being requested, स्वयं (svayam, self-born, self-born) you स्वयं (svayam, self-born, self-born) yourself made a vow! Wherever there is a place where the sutras are held, recited! Where they are taught, recited, written, and dwell! You always watch with divine eyes! Promising to constantly protect and guard, and to repel the merciless demons! Pacifying famine, disasters, and hundreds of thousands of harms! Repelling all armies from other lands! Protecting from all external invasions! Bringing happiness to gods and humans! The Tathagata also granted this wish! Wherever there is a place where the sutras are taught and listened to! And the kingdom of the king who acts according to the Dharma! You great kings, leading armies and retinues! And countless hosts of yakshas! With the supreme body of gods, invisible to sight! Arriving in that land, village, or town! Protecting and guarding that land, completely protecting, completely guarding! Cutting off punishments, bringing peace and happiness! Making a true vow, it will surely be accomplished! For the hostile forces, the assembly of the fourfold army! All those who intend to destroy that land! Should be repelled, and given hundreds of various obstacles! Creating all internal and external conflicts! Sending down stars and various diseases! Causing them to decline with many harms! Making a vow with the unchanging divine voice! On the shore of the lake where the river flows slowly! When the Able One and the holy assembly dwell! You, leading four thousand attendants! When coming to offer from your respective directions! Hearing the Dharma in your own languages, seeing the truth! When all the Buddhas enter Nirvana! The time to resist armies and enemy forces has come, the time to resist border armies has come, the time to resist famine and plague has come, the time to protect from the harm of bad years has come. May the world always be filled with happiness and peace! In the past, under the doctrine of the Teacher Dipamkara (འོད་སྲུངས།), I prayed to please Shakyamuni Buddha. Therefore, as long as the doctrine of the Sugata Shakyamuni exists, until that time, always protect without negligence, and protect this land where the doctrine exists, the time to protect and save has come. You were once empowered by Guru Padmasambhava (པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས།) in the northern snowy land of Tibet, with countless secret mantra mandalas, and were appointed as a protector of Tibet, to guard against the fierce border armies in the future degenerate age! Remember the entrusted vows and commitments, this land is entrusted to you, may you always protect, increase well-being, prevent the harm of evil border armies, and may all times be filled with happiness! The true and infallible is the language of the gods. With eternal words, the vows made in the past, do not forget to remember at this moment, protect, save, and completely protect, and pray for peace and fulfillment! In this land of the southern continent of Jambudvipa, when people act according to the Dharma, your glory and power will greatly increase, may auspiciousness and glory increase! This land where we act according to the Dharma is the time for you to protect, do not be negligent, always protect and save! Do not violate the teachings of the Teacher Sugata, do not tear the vows of Vajra Garland Power (རྡོ་རྗེ་ཐོད་ཕྲེང་རྩལ།), do not violate the words of me, the accomplished Vidyadhara (རིག་འཛིན་). Do not let the fruits of offering be wasted! Do not neglect your respective promises and vows, may the entrusted tasks be accomplished at this time! Namo!
