Draw four spokes on the outer edge, and write Hrīḥ (seed syllable, ह्रीः, hrīḥ, great compassion) and Hūṃ (seed syllable, हुं, huṃ, wrath) in the center. From the head of the Hūṃ syllable, show the face of the letters outwards. For those who hold these horses, may they be protected from the harm of demons, obstacles, evil spirits, goblins, and plagues. Protect! Protect! On the four spokes of the outer layer, write these in order, with the head of the mantra facing outwards: He durana, stop! Stop! Nāga sadu, stop! Stop! Rāca āyana, stop! Stop! Mama durana, stop! Stop! On the edges of the four spokes, write Hūṃ, strike! Destroy! completely. Then Ālikālī and the heart of dependent origination (pratītyasamutpāda). After that, draw eight vajras (thunderbolts) in the eight directions, surrounded by flames on the outer layer. The materials are snake slough, human blood, and the bones of a saddle. Fully bless and wear it around the neck. Horse protection, wish-fulfilling jewel (cintāmaṇi), samaya! Seal! Seal! Seal! Then, rākṣasas (ogres) and gongpos (spirits) will harm all beings. In order to cut off their path, show the profound method of subduing the rgyal 'gong and guarding the gate. Seeing this, all the rgyal 'gong will flee far away, their hearts and blood bursting. The heads of the iron scorpions face each other, bound in the middle with rope, a rhinoceros hide hat on Rūpa's head, hands tied behind the back, and feet bound with iron shackles. The head is held in the mouth of the scorpion, and the feet are also held in the mouth of the scorpion. In the four places: Jaḥ (seed syllable, जः, jaḥ, attraction), Hūṃ (seed syllable, हुं, huṃ, wrath), Baṃ (seed syllable, वं, vaṃ, binding), Hoḥ (seed syllable, होः, hoḥ, joy)!
