Furthermore, what are the forms of harm? Wherever they may be, near or far, if there appear signs such as the face of Yama (Lord of Death), the face of a Rakshasa (demon), the edge of a wheel, the blade of a sword, the face of a wild beast, or other dissimilar signs, then take a stupa-like auspicious stone without cracks, and with gold, silver, or vermilion, draw a jewel that blazes like a precious gem, like the jewel on the crown of a Naga king, and enshrine it in a place of precious origin. Consecrate it facing that direction, and you will be able to overcome it. Moreover, if there appear things like collapsing earth, disheveled hair, cracks in the earth's openings, or other things like earth houses eaten by insects, or scratched by wild animals, then make a container in the shape of a jewel box with precious materials, fill it with various grains, the five precious jewels, various silks, various medicines, conch shells, cowrie shells, and fruits. On an auspicious astrological day, bless the jewel box and bury it in that direction. Also, if there appear shapes like rocks resembling evil horns, snakes slithering downwards, Rakshasa women with disheveled hair, or crocodiles with open mouths, these are great enemies of the earth. To protect against and avert these, create the following interdependent object: make a Garuda (mythical bird) nineteen fingers wide from iron, stone, or metal, holding a snake in its mouth, wings spread, with bull horns. In its belly, write the essence mantra of Ushnishavijaya (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), the essence mantra of Vajravidāraṇa (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), and the dhāraṇī of Immaculate Ushnisha, and then enshrine it. Consecrate it well and place it facing the direction of the earth enemy, and there is no doubt that you will overcome the harm. Furthermore, wherever it may be, near or far, if there appears a rock resembling a crouching dog, or if similar things are between each other with a village in between, or if a mountain ridge pierces the village, or a rock pierces the door, or if there is a shape resembling any sentient being such as a wild animal, then make four lions of stone or clay in those four directions, consecrate them and place them there. Erect banners of Sitātapatrā (White Umbrella Goddess) on the four corners. By this, there is no doubt that any harm will be averted. Also, if there appear shapes like a cave resembling a female vulva, the mouth of a venomous snake, the mouth of a turtle, or the mouth of a predatory bird, then place a stone image resembling Maheśvara (Great Lord), or carve it on a stone and place it there. In that direction, draw an image of Gaṇapati (Lord of Hosts), or build a stupa. This will obstruct it. Furthermore, if there appears something resembling the tip of any weapon pointing, or a corner of the sky and earth resembling a container's hole, or a wild animal with its mouth open and fangs bared, then take from the ocean... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On a raised stone slab, draw a vajra cross (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་རྒྱ་གྲམ་, Meaning: vajra cross) with gold and silver. After consecrating it, pointing it towards a certain direction will ensure victory (over enemies in that direction). Then, if there is a stupa to the east of the residence or village, a burning fire on a rock to the south, a single tree to the west, and a lake making a 'tang tang' sound to the north, or rocks colliding with water, these occurrences indicate a strong local enemy. To defend against these, place an image of Mount Meru (Tibetan: རི་བོ་མཆོག་རབ་, Meaning: Supreme Mountain) on the eastern stupa; bury a bottle filled with water at the base of the burning fire in the south; insert an iron knife into the single tree in the west; take soil from the four peaks of the great mountain in the north and pour it into the lake, which will block (the harm). These are auspicious connections for averting local enemies and bringing good fortune, and are very profound. Furthermore, the auspicious connections for a yogi to examine their past and future lives are: on an auspicious day of the waxing moon, in a clean room, perform thorough cleansing, and in front of a Shakyamuni Buddha image (whether a painting or sculpture, and properly consecrated), arrange the five offerings, bathe oneself with fragrant water, recite mantras, and apply eye ointment when appropriate, decorate the hair with gold, turquoise, and dzi beads (Tibetan: གཟི་, Meaning: a precious gemstone), place a torma (Tibetan: གཏོར་མ་, Meaning: offering cake) decorated with meat and blood and a tsampa cake smeared with butter in front. Raise a blue silk umbrella above the sacred object. Then, abstain from garlic, onions, and alcohol, observe silence for seven days, and recite this mantra: Om Buddha Curu Ma Curu Ke Svaha (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བུདྡྷ་ཙུ་རུ་མ་ཙུ་རུ་ཀེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃ बुद्ध चुरु म चुरु के स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ buddha curu ma curu ke svāhā, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Buddha, Curu, Ma Curu, Ke, Svaha). Recite in this way, completing three hundred thousand repetitions. On special days, such as days of emptiness, arrange offerings in front of the Buddha image facing east, recite as much as possible in the evening, and before sleeping, pray: 'Please show me where I was born in the past and where I will be born in the future.' Pray to the Buddha with strong desire, head facing north, face facing east, feet facing west, and sleep in the lion posture, and you will see where you were born in the past and where you will be born in the future. If it does not appear, repeat three times, and it is impossible for it not to appear. During this time, avoid lepers, widows, and unclean people, avoid defilement, and it is very important to maintain bathing and cleanliness. In this way, everything mentioned above will be accomplished as it is, and this is a very profound practice. Like me, Padmasambhava (Tibetan: པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས་, Sanskrit: Padmasambhava, Sanskrit Romanization: padmasambhava, Literal Chinese Meaning: Lotus Born), in the secluded place of Yangleshöd (Tibetan: ཡང་ལེ་ཤོད་, Meaning: A place where Padmasambhava meditated), personally saw the Mandala of Vajradhatu (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་དབྱིངས་ཀྱི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་, Meaning: Mandala of Vajradhatu) and the deities of Vajrakilaya (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་ཕུར་པ, Meaning: Vajrakilaya), and received prophecies. After the passing of the Teacher (Buddha) into Nirvana, after two thousand eight hundred years, with the king of Tubo (Tibetan: བོད་, Meaning: Tibet) and those who had karmic connections from previous lives... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
