The earth exists on Sogkha. That is, the four faces of Mount Meru (Rirab Lhunpo): the east is white like crystal, the south is blue like lapis lazuli (Baiḍurya), the west is red like ruby (Padma rāga), and the north is green like sapphire (Indra nīla). The clear colors of the skies of the four continents also correspond to this. The people of Jambudvīpa (Jambudvīpa) in the south, their faces, heads, bodies, joints, and entire bodies also exist on Sogkha. The Tibetans live on the edge of Sogkha, so they are cold, poor, and destitute, but their memory is clear. India (Gyagar), Kashmir (Kha che), and Tajikistan (Ta zig) are located in the center of Sogkha, so they are delicate and weak-willed, but wealthy. China (Gya nag), Mongolia (Hor), and Naxi (Jang) are located at the opening of Sogkha, so they are vast, broad-minded, sharp-minded, quick-witted, and enjoy abundance. In addition, around Sogkha, there are thirty-six borderlands, including: Klo, Do, Kha khra, Kha sog, Gzha', Kha sud, Dmar, Tsha phung, Rdo ro, Bram tsha, Hu thag, Kha ling, Sprel glag, Khyi khyo, Gar log, Zhang tsha, and so on. These places are dark regions, without the name of the Buddha's teachings, without understanding the virtues of the Three Jewels, without understanding good and evil, without understanding cause and effect, liking flesh and blood, keen on killing, neither human nor ghost, mostly in the form of animals. This is called the place where beings live, and these places are also divided into three types: male land, female land, and neutral land. All sunny mountains are male lands, and all shady mountains are female lands. Ridges and protrusions are male lands, and depressions and hollows are female lands. Heavy and rough is male land, and light and soft is female land. All dry mountains are male lands, and all wet mountains are female lands. Rivers, saline-alkali land, muddy land, and swamps are neutral lands. If worldly land is planted on male land, it will not prosper, but it will be powerful, authoritative, able to occupy its own land and consolidate the border. If planted on female land, it will not prosper, but it will enjoy abundance, the people will be harmonious, auspicious, and the border will be stable. Neutral land should be avoided. In short, the places to be avoided are: Like the scars of a whipping, Like the tear marks left by crying on a mountainside, Like a Rakshasi (Srin mo) with disheveled hair, A gray mountain ridge sinking inward, Like squeezing a soaked saddle, The source of the mountain collapses, The end of the mountain is broken, The middle of the mountain is broken, The east is high, the south is sloping, the west is collapsing, the north is broken, the mountain behind is split, the color of the land is gray, Places haunted by fierce gods and demons, No grass grows, the color of the land is like it has been burned by fire, Rivers are turbulent, accompanied by noisy sounds, these are the dwellings of Yama, all are inauspicious places. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
