In the Kama (Kama, referring to the Kagyu school) teachings of the Kagyu tradition, there are prophecies about the Terma: the blessing of the transmission, the empowerment of aspiration, and the entrustment of the Dakinis, these three special transmission methods. Mainly because the blessing of the transmission is close and powerful, the evidence of the Terma texts is reliable, and it can subdue sentient beings of different aptitudes in a timely manner. Therefore, the Terma Dharma is a profound path that will not decay, and it is an extremely special Terma Dharma. Nowadays, the exoteric teachings (བཀའ་མ་, Kama) are gradually declining and chaotic due to the changes of the times. In order to allow those fortunate ones who awaken their past karmic connections to effortlessly accomplish the great cause of benefiting themselves and others through the Terma Dharma, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas sealed the essence of the Sutras, Vinaya, and Abhidharma with immortal imprints in the mountains, rocks, lakes, temples, and other places in Tibet (བོད་ཡུལ།) surrounded by snow mountains. As the Sutra says: 'The most profound ultimate essence, universally benefits the Tibetan people, especially compassionate to the sentient beings of the degenerate age, filling all places with Termas, and making vows to meet with destined disciples. In the future, those who are attached to speculation and nomenclature, and those self-righteous practitioners, although they will argue pretentiously about the Termas, most practitioners in the degenerate age will rely on the Terma Dharma. The profound and complete Dharma will not be obscured, it will be promoted and expanded, and every teaching can surely liberate sentient beings. Therefore, those who awaken their past karmic connections, have good karma, and practice diligently, if they can remember death, they should practice the Terma Dharma. In this life, they can obtain the path of liberation, all followers!' As the Sutra says, the well-being of the Tibetan people (བོད་) and the entire Tibetan region (བོད་ཆེན་པོ།) depends on the profound Terma Dharma that arises in due time. And those who invite these Terma Dharmas are the great masters such as the translators (ལོ་པཎ་, Lotsawa and Pandit, referring to the translators and scholars of Buddhist scriptures) and the kings and ministers who reside in the great holy places. In order to subdue sentient beings of different aptitudes, they manifest as Tertöns. In the Tang Dynasty documents, from Sangye Lama (སངས་རྒྱས་བླ་མ་) to Dechen Lingpa (བདེ་ཆེན་གླིང་པ་), the Tertöns have their own era characteristics and prophecies. Taking the Eight Heruka Sadhanas (བཀའ་བརྒྱད་) of Nyang Ter (ཉང་གཏེར་) as an example, the Sutra records: 'At the Terma site hidden by the handprint of the demoness, the signs of taking out the Terma will appear. The incarnation of the king named Nyangrel (ཉང་རལ་) will appear.' As the prophecy says, the unparalleled king of Tertöns, Nyang Nyima Özer (ཉང་ཉི་མ་འོད་ཟེར་), extracted immeasurable Dharma treasures. Among them is the 'Great Accomplishment Assembly' (སྒྲུབ་ཆེན་བདེ་གཤེགས་འདུས་པ།). In the ancient Nyingma school (སྔ་འགྱུར་), the teachings are divided into two transmission methods: the Sutra section (རྒྱུད་སྡེ་) and the Sadhana section (སྒྲུབ་སྡེ་), and what is said here is the Sadhana section. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Practicing by gathering the eight classes together becomes the root. Generally, all Tathagatas abide in the nature of the five: body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities. Therefore, the methods of practice also transform into five aspects: relying on the four wheels of Manjushri's body mandala to accomplish the practice of the Sugata's body; relying on the three sounds of the horse's cry to accomplish the practice of the Padma's speech; relying on the self-arising wisdom of mind, the single perfect accomplishment, to accomplish the practice of the mind vajra; showing all phenomena of samsara and nirvana to be complete as qualities, the practice of nectar qualities; mainly showing the method of cutting through the violence with the activity of direct experience, the practice of the Phurba activity, which are the five practice sections of the wisdom deities. And the common practice sections of the past and not-past, such as the Mamo casting and throwing, the fierce curses, and the practice section of worldly offerings and praises. These three are also considering the protection of the teachings of the wisdom deities, and countless chapters were spoken. The method of practicing by gathering all of these together is to empower in the mandala of the Great Accomplishment, the Gathering of the Sugatas. Initially, to introduce certainty, taking the history as the authority, the teacher, the Bhagavan, the glorious Samantabhadra himself, while not moving from the Dharmakaya, the unborn, arose in the play of the Rupakaya, appearing in the form of peaceful and wrathful glorious Heruka, in the supreme secret abode of Ogmin, to countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, wrathful deities and wrathful mothers, etc., with the self-sound of Dharmata, he spoke the five general tantras, the ten specific tantras, and so on, the immeasurable tantras of the practice sections. These were first recorded in words by the chief of vidyadharas, Vajrapani, then written into books, and five commentaries were made, entrusted to the Dakini Karma Wangmo Che. She separated the general and specific tantras, placed them in precious boxes, and hid them as treasures in the Blissful Stupa of the Cool Grove Cemetery. Later, the visions of the eight teachers were in harmony, and various miracles appeared, so they went to that place and commanded the eight classes. Then, the treasure guardians handed over the eight boxes of specific tantras to the eight vidyadharas who received the command. The box of the general tantra, made of eight kinds of precious materials, was again hidden as a treasure by the great teacher Padmasambhava. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
