Inviting (the Guru). This great Guru is the embodiment of the Vajra speech of all Buddhas of the three times. Without moving from the essence of Amitābha (Tibetan: འོད་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་པ་, Sanskrit: Amitābha, meaning 'Immeasurable Light'), the miraculous manifestations of his unceasing compassion appear in limitless forms, such as the noble Avalokiteśvara (Tibetan: སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་ཕྱུག་, Sanskrit: Avalokiteśvara, meaning 'The Lord Who Looks Down') and the powerful Hayagrīva (Tibetan: རྟ་མགྲིན་, Sanskrit: Hayagrīva, meaning 'Horse Neck'), subduing beings according to their needs. In particular, in Jambudvīpa (Tibetan: འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་, Sanskrit: Jambudvīpa, meaning 'Rose-apple Island'), he manifested as the regent of Śākyamuni (Tibetan: ཐུབ་པའི་དབང་པོ་, Sanskrit: Śākyamuni, meaning 'Sage of the Shakyas'), born from a lotus stalk in the island of Dhanakośa (Tibetan: དྷ་ན་ཀོ་ཤའི་), becoming like a second Buddha for the teachings of the Buddha in both China and Tibet. Especially in Samye Chimpu (Tibetan: བསམ་ཡས་མཆིམ་ཕུ་), Drakmar Keutsang (Tibetan: བྲག་དམར་ཀེའུ་ཚང་), and other places, he opened the mandala of the Great Accomplishment Eight Teachings (Tibetan: སྒྲུབ་ཆེན་བཀའ་བརྒྱད་) for the twenty-five king and subjects, and conferred empowerments. Like the eight great Vidyādharas (Tibetan: གྲུབ་ཆེན་བརྒྱད་) each receiving the flower garland of their respective deities, he sent them to practice in the eight great places of accomplishment, and all the king and subjects attained accomplishment. Among them, King Trisong Detsen (Tibetan: ཁྲི་སྲོང་ལྡེའུ་བཙན་) received the empowerment of De-sheg Du-pa (Tibetan: བདེ་གཤེགས་འདུས་པ་, Sanskrit: *Tathāgata-samgraha*, meaning 'Assembly of the Sugatas'). All the tantras, scriptures, and oral instructions were translated and established by the great translator Vairotsana (Tibetan: བཻ་རོ་ཙ་ན་) and Loden Tsek Mang (Tibetan: ལྡན་མ་རྩེ་མང་). Although the king himself had the fortune, he was distracted by politics and did not cultivate diligently. Therefore, according to the Guru's (Tibetan: གུ་རུ་) words, he made aspirations to meet in future lives and hid the texts as treasures in Drakmar Drinzang (Tibetan: བྲག་དམར་མགྲིན་བཟང་). Later, the Ḍākinīs moved the treasure gate to the back of Mkho-mthing Namnang (Tibetan: མཁོ་མཐིང་རྣམ་སྣང་). Subsequently, from the middle of the Khorsa (Tibetan: ཁོར་ས་) of Samye Utsé (Tibetan: བསམ་ཡས་དབུ་རྩེའི་), the Khatang (Tibetan: ཁ་བྱང་) was taken out and offered by the accomplished Drubthob Dngondrup (Tibetan: གྲུབ་ཐོབ་དངོས་གྲུབ་). Then, Nyang Nyima Özer (Tibetan: ཉང་ཉི་མ་འོད་ཟེར་) invited the De-sheg Du-pa (Tibetan: བདེ་གཤེགས་འདུས་པ་, Sanskrit: *Tathāgata-samgraha*, meaning 'Assembly of the Sugatas') cycle from Mkho-mthing (Tibetan: མཁོ་མཐིང་), enabling the five sons who received the empowerment, especially the youngest son Drowé Gonpo (Tibetan: འགྲོ་བའི་མགོན་པོ་), and other fortunate disciples to mature and be liberated. The special lineage from this was passed to Panchen Pema Wangyal (Tibetan: པཎ་ཆེན་པདྨ་དབང་རྒྱལ་), and then successively to Lama Dampa (Tibetan: བླ་མ་དམ་པ་), from whom I received it completely. The Dharma from this lineage has two stages: the basis of the path—the maturing empowerments, and the liberation associated with it—the generation and completion stages. Here, the empowerment stage is the time for practice to ripen. Next is the preparatory stage. As it is said in the scriptures, etc., the illusory peaceful and wrathful deities (Tibetan: སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་ཞི་ཁྲོ་) remain unchanged. During the main practice, the essence of the empowerment, the explanation of the definition, is received like an illusion. After that, the divisions are... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The outer empowerment relies on material substances, the inner empowerment relies on the body, the secret empowerment relies on the consort, and the suchness empowerment relies on the mind. There are four types. Moreover, empowerment must be preceded by a mandala. Therefore, one must first enter the mandala. As the root tantra says: 'There are two ways to enter the mandala, namely the master and the disciple.' First, the Vajra master should complete the rituals of establishing the mandala, practicing, and entering oneself. Then, 'Now, these have become your fortune,' and so on, as before. From this, it can be known that the first Jowo Nang tradition, the middle Dorje Lingpa, and the last Padma Lingpa are the three ways of secret perfection. In addition, the common teachings of the Eight Kagyü lineages, such as the self-arisen and self-manifested of the Northern Treasures, have similar content except for the differences in the necessary Dharma rituals. In particular, the explanations of the common characteristics of the practice sections such as Yamantaka, Hayagriva, and Vajrakilaya are similar, and one can identify this and that from them. Moreover, it is necessary to know that the treasure teachings belong to the category of Kagyu, treasure discovery, and pure visions, and not only that, but the treasure teachings also have similarities with other lineages such as Lama Dzogchen Thugsum. Since the treasure teachings are very extensive, it is impossible to describe them all. If there are too many differences in the rituals, it may be confusing, so let's just say this much for now. Thangla Khar Monastery's Tulku Rinpoche Ngawang Kunsang Rangdrol verbally urged, 'For the benefit of those with low intelligence, such a work must be created.' Therefore, the ignorant nun Dharma Shri recorded it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
