Lotus-born, this word, entrusted to the hands of Amitabha (འོད་དཔག་མེད་, Infinite Light), may it meet the emanation of Great Compassion, may it meet the teachings of Orgyen! ཨྠྀི་གུ་ཧྱ༔ Orgyen Padmasambhava (ཨོ་རྒྱན་པདྨ་, Lotus Born of Orgyen) is my teaching, this is the essence extraction of Arura (ཨ་རུ་ར་, Myrobalan), may the fortunate ones enjoy it! What is Arura? Only the golden Arura nourishes flesh and skin, nourishes marrow and bones, possesses fourteen powers, and is the king of medicine. Golden is excellent, does not rot for thirty years, has no spots, and is compatible with extracts of sea salt and Oxalis corniculata (酢浆草), soak it in large quantities. Also soak in it the juices of two potent medicinal materials: water of stalactite (ཅོང་ཞིའི་ཆུ་) and iron powder, and the juice of Arura itself. If not available, use the juice of Oxalis corniculata. Then soak the milk in Arura, in short, soak all the juices into Arura itself. Then, taking Arura once a month on an empty stomach, the benefits are equivalent to the six tastes of nectar. In particular, it harmonizes the constitution, clarifies wisdom, makes the skin radiant, and eliminates diseases caused by wind, bile, and phlegm. The supreme essence extraction of the supreme medicine Arura, entrusted to the hands of Amitayus (ཚེ་དཔག་མེད་, Infinite Life), may it meet a fortunate one! The words of Padmasambhava are true! ཨྠྀི་༔ Orgyen Padmasambhava is my teaching, this is the essence extraction of rock essence Stalactite, may it meet with the fortunate ones! What is Stalactite? Beneficial to men is the female Stalactite, which is white and shiny, like crystal or conch. Beneficial to women is the male Stalactite, which is yellow or like the back of a toad, and thick. Beneficial to both is the hermaphrodite Stalactite, which is the best rock Stalactite. Grind three handfuls of any compatible superior Stalactite into powder, first to increase splendor, add glacial water and toad back and other superior stone medicines to increase splendor. Then to infuse potency, soak in Arura and iron juice. Then decoct and soak in milk. Then add Terminalia chebula (诃子) and other medicines to enhance the taste. Then add the extracts of three fruits and six roots as assistants. The method of preparation is the same as above, adding milk, butter, and salt to the juice. If taken in this way, the benefits are the same as above. In particular, it makes the complexion fair, increases strength, hardens bones, prevents hair from turning white, grows hair, and prolongs life. Furthermore, soak the hardened bones in cold, refreshing liquid, then soak them in the juice of fresh branches. If there is excessive serum or a recurrence of leprosy, add ash of Soma-rāja (a medicinal herb), ash of Vajra (thunderbolt), white and black Guggul (a medicinal herb). If these are not available, they are not necessary. Then soak in milk, preferably cow's milk or butter. Add brown sugar and honey, and mix well. Consume after extracting the essence, and the essence will flourish in the body. In particular, it prolongs life and eliminates all eighteen types of leprosy. It eliminates all diseases caused by serum, It will not be affected by evil spirits, and no creatures will grow on the body. This essence extraction of the earth essence is held by Amitāyus (Buddha of Limitless Life). May it meet with those who have the karma! ཨྠྀི་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, meaning unclear)! Ogyen Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) my instructions: The self-born, primordial, pure substance, may those with karma enjoy it. What is the self-born nectar? Select good barley, lightly fry it, and grind it into flour. Remove the pungent taste of old vegetables, making it suitable for consumption. After eating, abstain from other foods, and in the early morning, excrete feces onto a clean, flat container. Discard the root and tip, and dry it without rotting or becoming damp. Grind it into three to four 'Bre' (unit of volume) of flour. The urine and feces at this time refer to the first excretion of urine and feces. Use the middle part of the second excretion to make it. Use the middle part to boil and soak, adding a mixture of the five meats and five nectars, as well as a mixture of high-quality Amrita (immortal nectar), and infuse it with the energy of 'Ang' (sound). Make it into the shape of a butter lamp, soak it in syrup, and place it in five symbolic skull cups (Kapala), sealing them with five colors of silk, and arranging them in the center and four directions of the mandala. Perform it like blessing the nectar, or visualize that all the samaya substances come from the union of the five Buddha fathers and mothers, and that nectar like pearls emerges from the Bodhicitta (mind of enlightenment), filling the skull cups. Recite the essence mantra that gathers the five families: Oṃ hūṃ trāṃ hrīḥ āḥ, Oṃ āḥ hūṃ, Sarva pañca amṛta hūṃ hrīḥ ṭhāḥ. This is the mantra for transforming the samaya substances into nectar. Recite it a million times and bless it, offer it to the Guru, Yidam, and Dakinis, and pray for the granting of the accomplishment of longevity. Abandon the mental clutter and conceptual thoughts, as they are poison. After eating, continuously replenish and practice, and within three years, one will achieve the Vidyadhara (knowledge holder) of longevity. May the Buddhas of the three times bless you! May the Dakinis help! May extraordinary realization arise! It can expel leprosy, and the body will become youthful like a snake shedding its skin.
