Pick them with sugarcane at harvest time. Harvest, dry in the shade, and grind thoroughly. It is best to mix one-third of the total amount of medicine with honey, or good brown sugar is also acceptable. When administering, give two-thirds with clarified butter. Administer a small amount of yellow myrobalan, excrement, and buttercup. Replenish energy with three doses. After those, rely on flour porridge and nutritious food. Make the mixture into pills the size of sheep droppings and dry them in the shade. One can swallow three pills, or put them in boiling water and drink it, whichever is convenient. Restrict the intake of tsampa, and take three, six, or nine pills as appropriate, adjusting according to digestive strength. If taken in this way for six months, one will obtain a vajra body. If taken for up to six years, one will live for seven thousand years. The benefits of this: it destroys diseases, evil spirits, and discursive thoughts. Life is equal to the sun and moon, wisdom is equal to Manjushri, samadhi arises spontaneously, speed is like a bird, and strength is comparable to an elephant. Taking this is more beneficial than taking all the herbs of Jambudvipa. May this supreme, radiant, and nourishing medicine be entrusted to Amitabha, and may I meet with an emanation of the Three Protectors! ཨྠྀི་༔ (Tibetan)ས་མ་ཡ༔ (Tibetan)རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱ༔ (Tibetan)(Athi, Samaya, Gya Gya Gya)(Sanskrit Romanization)(Athi, Samaya, Gya Gya Gya)(Literal meaning: Thus, Vow, Seal Seal Seal!) Padmasambhava of Oddiyana is my command! May those with good fortune experience this essence of Manjushri practice! Twenty-eight Arura, fourteen Barura, one cluster of Kyuru, four portions of white calamus. Ten nutmegs, fifteen portions of heart-shaped dried meat. Grind them carefully and boil them in the milk of a red cow. Dissolve it in ghee, add brown sugar and honey, and mix well. Then, after emptying the heart, take one teaspoon each morning. This will enhance memory, ignite wisdom, and always keep the heart comfortable. May I meet with those who have karmic connections! ཨྠྀི་༔ (Tibetan)ས་མ་ཡ༔ (Tibetan)རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱ༔ (Tibetan)(Athi, Samaya, Gya Gya Gya)(Sanskrit Romanization)(Athi, Samaya, Gya Gya Gya)(Literal meaning: Thus, Vow, Seal Seal Seal!) Recite this mantra seven thousand times over white mustard oil, recite it five hundred times before going out, apply it to the soles of both feet, then apply fruit medicinal oil to the navel, and eat boiled milk and brown sugar. In this way, one can travel up to a thousand yojanas (a unit of distance in ancient India) and be able to return home. This is the mantra: Om kiṃnara go baru ru maṇa. Recite this mantra. Entrust it to Amitāyus (the Buddha of Limitless Life), may you meet with those who have karmic connections. Athi. Samaya. Gya gya gya. This is the seventh treasure among the eighteen treasures opened by the sovereign, speech emanation, Guru Rinpoche, Chökyi Wangchuk, from the fingers of Amitābha in Lhodrak Khoting Lhakhang, brought forth by Nyenton Zambhala as a messenger, a profound teaching on essence extraction.
